Which game should I play next?

I don't really post on here often, I generally watch the video's and go about my day but now I need help.

So I just finished God of War, what an incredible game. Such a enthralling story. That ending too, dude. God of War.

Anyway enough of that, what now? What do I play now, I have no idea. I generally tend to focus on one game at a time and I have so many games that I really don't wanna waste money on something new just yet, trying to be responsible with my money this year (doubt it will last). Anyway the decision, I can't make it, so why not leave it in your guys hands? So below is a list of games that I own, that...most wont even have been started. Some however will be at various levels of completion. So whats next for me? You decide.

So Thats everything unfinished on my PS4 and Xbox one in no particular order, i'll leave the choice up to you guys and whatever is selected I will give my best shot.

I edited your thread title so it was more clear, "What next" could have been about about anything.

I'd say go with Inside, it's relatively short and that game is filled with some really wild stuff...

Number one is already correct, give Prey two hours and you will love it, story is very good, as is the game play and atmosphere, second choice is Persona 5 but it is a longggg game.

I think interested parties should at least try to experience Mass Effect Andromeda so they can understand that game’s ineptitude firsthand. Oh, you wanted to play something good? Then, I dunno, Prey. Prey is fantastic.

Since you just finished a fairly long game, I'd suggest something short. Wolfenstein: The New Order would fit that role pretty well.

Prey was one of my favorite games in years. Give it a few hours and you'll be hooked!

I’d say Inside or Massive Chalice if you want a pallette cleanse. I lean Massive Challice.

If you want a linear story, Wolfenstein TNO or Ryse. Wolfenstein is the better game but I’m a big Ryse apologist and really dug that game (just play on the hardest difficulty available, normal is boring and NOT fun). I’ve played both several times, and I’d go Ryse if I had to choose right now.

As far as open worlds go, Just Cause 3, Mad Max, Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell, and Sunset Overdrive are all fun. Sunset is my favorite from that crop. It’s style is hit or miss. I dug it as knowingly silly. It’s all about movement. Shooting is very secondary. Also, it’s got The Bronx and The Melvins on the soundtrack.

@arbitrarywater: I’m not going to say the Andromeda isn’t the worst Bioware game I’ve played, but it has its moments.

Using biotics and pistols, biotic dashing around that open desert planet fighting in the open world...it felt good.

Also, that Drack loyalty mission (if I remember right) that gitches into an accidental Twin Peaks The Return scene is pretty amazing. Brad documented it on the site and I ran into it too. It’s accidentally amazing.

The roleplaying and storytelling was pretty weak most of the time, okay sometimes, and more that infrequently cringe-worthy. I need to finish the game sometime, just so I can put it behind me.

I'd probably try a shorter game in between longer ones to break things up. Since you played a longer, narrative-driven game, maybe try Sonic Mania or Inside next.

Prey, you listed it first.

It's a good game and I think you subconsciously may want to play it the most.

I would play Inside first among those choices as it's probably the shortest.

@nutter: Oh yeah, the shooting in Andromeda is actually its one competent aspect. It helped take the edge off when I was spending the rest of my time actively rolling my eyes at the quality of the game's writing.

Pyre into Wolfenstein TNO into Inside into Prey. That's like 80k points in Tony Hawk.

I want to be the only person to say Ryse: Son of Rome

So Ryse: Son of Rome

Voted The Witness. But only if you are very, very patient. (And not color-blind. Or deaf.) Can be frustrating, but also extremely satisfying.

I love me some XCOM 2, and if you like turn based strategy games, it's really good. Great DLC for it too.

Lost Odyssey is a bit old but damn that was a good jrpg. If you enjoy those, you gotta play LO.

ME Andromeda takes too much crap. It launched with some weird issues and glitches(was never very much for me on xbox), but it's been cleaned up with all the patches. Exploring all the planets and the fantastic combat made the game a joy for me. If you love ME like me, give it a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Side Note: I guess I really need to play Prey. Everywhere I look it gets strongly recommended.

Metro 2033 is freaking great. I'm actually surprised no one else has voted that game yet since it's usually a cult classic that brings out one or two die-hard fans. Fuck it, I guess I'll be that guy this time around.

You should play Metro 2033.

Out of that huge list of games, I would play...

1. Persona 5
2. XCOM 2 (especially if you have the expansion)
3. Life is Strange: Before the Storm

....in that order.

My suggestion would be to write the games on an index card, shuffle them or pull one randomly out of a hat and have the one you pick be the game you play next then keep going and going. Honestly, I'd recommend trimming the list a bit based on suggestions in this thread. No one needs to play Battlefield Hardline, for example, unless you see the need to. Just my 2 cents.

Prey! That game is fantastic and the best game on that list

Xcom 2 is a close second but only with the expansion pack

I agree with the people that say you should go for a palette cleanser, so of that list, Sonic Mania. But don't wait too long to jump into my real recommendation, The Witness. It will swallow your attention, whole. You won't want to be thinking about anything else besides that game when you play it.

You have to the thief. when first i played the games i thought it just ordinary stealing game but it turn into horror games and it is very terryfying

I'd totally go for Persona 5, such an amazing and stylish game

Go with Inside, it’s short and amazing.
