XBOX360 or the PS3?

Which one do i own? Which one should you get? It depends on what you want and how much you want to pay.  (BTW i guarantee Thiago will post in this thread and say something unkind about people who vote for the xbox)

I have a 360 and its dead for the 4th time, so i chose PS3...

I picked neither because, while I own a 360 and not a PS3, I'd be perfectly happy with also having a PS3, since it's a quality piece of hardware with respectable exclusives.

I own both and have had fantastic experiences with both... So I guess technically that is neither.

PS3 is still too expensive. 

It's kinda funny though.  Everytime there small price drop or deal here in Japan for the PS3 there are a bunch used 360s floating around at the store afterwards.

Just picked a used 30gb for about 90US with games.

i prefer the xbox 360.

Similar games, best handling of third-party games, and price.

With the new hardware, they're much more reliable, though not 100%, but nearly according to official sources.

PS3 is still too expensive and it only shines in it's first-party software and exclusives.

But... in the PS3 you have free online multiplayer... so weight the good with the bad.

I voted for the PS3, because while I love the 360 and most things on it, the hardware that makes up the system itself is shit in my opinion. I just had my third one die on me and it's been less than a year since I got it. The motor for the disc drive shit the bed just like my previous ones. I had this same problem with the PS2 back in the day, but unlike with the PS2 I hardly use my 360 (about 5 hours a week tops). So screw it I am done. I still got my first PS3 and Wii and they are going strong.

Wow I'm surprised that in the poll the PS3 percentage is as high as it is.

The PS3 would be the best out of the two to choose from definitely if you want some good exclusives.

Also, there are so many threads like this, why make another one? You obviously formed an opinion on what everyone should vote for so what's the point of it?

PS3 because my XBOX keeps breaking.

PS3- It is pretty diverse on what you can do on it, and its system doesnt break like the 360.

XBOX- It has great online and more games that are pretty awesome.

I voted 360 because I think it's the first system a gamer should get, anyone who loves games should absolutely get a PS3, but 360 has a distinct advantage in 3rd party support.

but really, if you want the best stuff, get an awesome PC. Wag Crysis on high settings in the faces of everyone and their bloody killzone 2.
