LoL a "step backwards" for a DOTA 2 player?

There's alot of people in this thread giving really passive aggressive answers one way or the other.

Is there a straight answer here?

If you have most aspects of DOTA 2 worked out is LOL going to show you anything exciting?

Most of these answers tend to be "They are completely different - because ummm Dota 2 is more complex"

Is this apt? Or is there a whole lot going on with LOL? because none of the answers here seem to reflect that.

In a way, I'd say so. LoL is just much easier to play.
