Best TV show?

Hey Giantbombers, I'm watching 24 right now and I was wondering what other TV shows I should watch. What's your favourite TV show?

Must have watched the whole series 3 times already. Love it.

24 and Lost

In my mind, Arrested Development is the best TV show ever. All the characters are fantastically developed, with crazy twists happening all of the time. You can find a lot (I think all) of the episodes at Hulu. And of course most of the episodes from Batman: The Animated Series, but you probably already knew that. Listen to what the folks above me have to say, as well.

House or prison break, can't decide.

Tell you the truth I don't watch a lot of standard TV shows.  I watch a lot of TV, but it's mostly stuff I've seen a dozen times.  When it comes to network TV, it's almost nil.  Honestly, Smallville and FOX's animation block are the only shows I watch regularly there.  On cable, it's a bit more varied.   Pardon the Interruption (ESPN), Mythbusters (DISC), Iron Chef-Japanese version (FLN) and Attack of the Show (G4) are a few of the programming choices that I enjoy.  After that it's just a bunch of random cartoons off of Nick, Disney and CN.  Oh, and my guilty pleasure "Sonny with a Chance." (Don't judge me!)  I have Netflix and a pile of anime I'm working through, so it's not like I don't have anything that holds my interest.

I don't know what's good anymore other than to say "Watch Mythbusters! It's still awesome."

If you like terrorism-themed shows like 24, I would suggest Battlestar Galactica. The miniseries and season 1 have a lot of parallels to what was happening after 9/11 and during the Iraq war, and it's probably my favorite TV series ever.

Best TV show of all time is Scrubs, but who hasn't seen that? It's on like 8 channels.

House, Monk, Bones are all good.

Legend of the Seeker
This show is so underrated but so awesome. All episodes are on Hulu.

So hard to decent on one show as the best. Some of my favourites included:

• Curb your Enthusiasm
• Rescue Me
• The shield
• Futurama
• X-Files

Stargate SG-1.
Scrubs.

I really recommend keeping with 24, Burnnotice is really good, and Wipeout.  If you love watching people hurt themselves, wipeout is the best show ever
