Sure they haven't been made into movies, but they're really good books!

Tough call between The Godfather and Star Wars. As just a movie Godfather for sure. But if we're talking about the actual content and creativity of the lore/story then Star Wars.

I voted LOTR, but I was thinking about the books, so it appears I wasn't aware of the comparison of this thread.

I went with Bourne, because I hate Return of the Jedi ... then again, I don't like the Bourne Supremacy either. SHIT.

Hopefully, if the next Batman movie is good, then it will be N.

No. We aren't. Original Star Wars trilogy without the VHS CG touchups are brilliant. I can't watch one of those movies without my mind going crazy from all the interesting planets and creatures

I voted for the Lord of the Rings, but only because I haven't seen all of the other trilogies and the Matrix trilogy wasn't that great.

As said before in many other threads, there is only one trilogy...

I really enjoyed all the Bourne movies

Spider-Man. It's the only trilogy I can think of where all 3 films are fantastic. Star Wars loses points for Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones for Temple of Doom and The Matrix for having fantastic sequels but never being as good as the original. Also, anyone who voted for Pirates of the Caribbean has downs syndrome because those films are fucking terrible.

Original Star Wars was close, but Back to the Future is fantastic. I could watch it on a marathon without being board!
