I knew about that for a year because I already listened to the Geekbox. That part was funny but they just beat a dead horse into oblivion.
Man that was seriously terrible. That dude literally spoke in a fucking handicapped voice, which every normal person stopped thinking was funny when they turned 10 years old.
I just listened to that podcast. Yeah they sounded like a bunch of idiots, but there was no mention of the Bombcast at all. The comment that the OP put up is true, but they never mentioned it toward the Bombcast.
So judging by the OP's statement, as soon as they said that comment, he automatically thought of the Bombcast crew. Therefore he thinks that they're a bunch of fat people that wears jean shorts in the winter.

A lot of people here aren't familiar with Scott Bromley it seems.
Dude is honestly a really chill person. He's good at acting like an asshole and it gets many laughs from both listeners as well as his friends. That being said, can't say I blame the Giant Bomb Defence Force. That was kind of a douchey thing to say about Ryan.

Actually yeah, because a lot of what Scott Bromley says is hilarious in just how douchey it can get. Any time he shows up on Rebel FM I know I'm in for a treat when the Letters segment rolls around.
Topic title is misleading, as are most posts in this thread. GameSpy Debriefings didn't hate on GB, Scott Bromley make a joke in poor taste at the expense of GB. He plays into the role of an a-hole in front of the mic, and thrives on hatred. GB crew may or may not have a relationship with him that makes it okay for him to have said that, but either way people don't need to get all butthurt because one grown man called another grown man fat.
Anthony Gallegos and Ryan Scott are both cool people and respectable writers (Altano is an genuine douche).

Podcast seems prety decent overall, not listened to it before, all they could do to improve it is get rid of the 2 loud guys, anthony and ryan are pretty cool together
