Is Halloween celebrated largely in your country?
In Sweden? I don't really know, I live in an apartment but I've never gotten trick or treaters, and I don't see alot of people dressed up outside
There are however plenty of Halloween parties where people dress up and companies here promote it to sell stuff and get us to watch stuff like tv shows and movies
Yup, in America. I usually don't have anything to do with it myself, since I don't like a lot of candy and I'm not really that creative when it comes to costumes.
I think its more of an excuse for girls to go out dressed even more slutty than they usually do on a Friday. It's mostly a kids thing in the UK. A few adults use it as an excuse to go out and drink heavily, which is pretty dumb. You don't need an excuse to go out and drink heavily. Just go out and get drunk whenever you want. Who cares what day it is.
It's not really celebrated here at all. There's always some stuff about it on the papers, but that's about it.
I see very little of it here, other than halloween parties among friends and organizations, and not that much in the media. Certainly no tricking or treating going on.
I've had just as many amazing halloweens as an adult as I had as a child. America loves it cuz we do it right.

Or at least as slutty but with a stupid animal themed costume.
It's been getting smaller where I live. Not as many houses with lights on and awesome decorations compared to when I was a kid. Made a poll about this a while ago.
