... on Victorian era and steampunk clothing and accessories. That's a vest, top hat, goggles (a must), the whole sha-bang.
I could play it off as this year's Halloween costume, but in reality I just want it because its awesome. Steampunk rules. God damn goggles!
Is it bad that I want to spend 200 bucks...
Wow. If you want to spend your money it is your choice but you might regret it... or, at least, I would.
It was the damn avatar store. I got goggles for my avatar and now I need more!
There, I also made it video game related.
" It isn't bad if your going to go out and commit mass murder, it looks like something a psychotic killer would wear as a disguise "Actually psychotic killers would try to look as normal as possible.
Wearing stuff like that, you'd get noticed fast.
That thing.... Well, you'll be noticed alright. As a total nerd.
" ... on Victorian era and steampunk clothing and accessories. That's a vest, top hat, goggles (a must), the whole sha-bang.It depends, if you have a girlfriend, live independently, and have a decent job, then I would say go for it. If not, then work on one of those three things first. :)

My friends and I last month spent over $2,000 on hotsprings, alcohol, and the company of some Japanese country girls. Some of that money was spent buying Japanese statues, clothes, etc...
...looking back at the crap I have at my place, I have realized we were stupid as hell. No idea how we spent most of the cash, and can't remember most of it...all we had were pictures and we had to delete them due to some of them not being good. >.>
Point being, if you really want it...go for it. If it's random impulse...you're gonna be stuck hating to look at it.
My god, I thought you were talking about spending 200 microsoft points on dressing up your xbox live avatar.
If you can spare the money then I guess buy whatever makes you happy, but are you sure you couldn't go to a hardware store and make some of those yourself?
HOLD ON !!!!
I just googled steampunk goggles and I found this site where it looks like you can get that kind of stuff a hell of a lot cheaper.
It's your money, do with it as you like, but remember that you are contributing to an ever expanding problem of gamers getting shafted by overcharging from the game companies.
Oh, wait, you mean real clothes? Sure, go for that. I'm not sure how useful it'd be outside of Halloween, but whatever makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone is all good, I believe.
Enjoy wasting your money and then being treating like a freak for wearing dickhead clothing in public places.
" Why buy real clothes to wear when you can use real money to buy fake clothes for your xbox avatar? "geek logic always takes over
Ummm yeah it's bad
But those googles are badass
I can't really talk, I just put down $25 to reserve a $150 pair of night vision goggles, plus some game that nobody has heard of.
Save 50 bucks and just buy me a new 120gb Xbox 360 hard drive from amazon and we'll both be more happy =)
" Yeah, probably, but it is your money, isn't it? So do what you want with it. "
ya, I probably won't get it at this point and time. Maybe if I fall into some extra cash.
I still really want it though....
" Nothing wrong with it, it's pretty awesome. "I know! Goggles are the apex of human fashion!!!
" That's pretty expensive. "Well the dude hand makes them and its made a brass and working magnification lenses.
" @LiquidPrince said:Yeah, I'm not saying it's not worth it, just two hundred dollars that could be used elsewhere. But if it make em happy then why not." That's pretty expensive. "Well the dude hand makes them and its made a brass and working magnification lenses. "
I just spent 56 dollars on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles BluRay set, so pass the fucking goggles man.
