Limewire = Greatest Program

I cannot think of a greater program.... its made me aware of many artists that I've never heard of before.

I can not stand it, half the stuff I download doesn't work.

Yeah, Torrents are the way to go.

But for the curious, uTorrent is the one I use and is awesome.

If you posted a thread like this on gamespot you'd be suspened for 7 days in a flash. Here's hoping the Giantbomb doesn't do that to you. ;)

Yeah, LimeWire also eats up your computer with adware and spyware.

Torrents are much more reliable (and safer) than limewire.

I dislike the idea of being caught by the FBI so I don't use limewire, I stick to making playlists on other sites and use that.

Yah torrents all the the way. Limewire is a virus fest. But really if you want to support your artist buy their music, download porn with torrents or limewire!

Lately whenever i use LW it just gets stuck at "Starting Connection"  my firewall is not blocking it so I don't know what the problem is. Technical support is welcome and appreciated

Yeah, when i first joined gamespot i didn't know they were so strict and that happened to me and contributed to me getting banned. It made me think back when i saw the thread. And yes i do use limewire and i do prefer it over others.

For music limewire is ok, but for any larger downloads or even music albums torrents are the way to go, what you download off limewire could be anything.
But do not download games!!!!!!!!!11111

I use Limewire to get to know an artist by downloading a song or two. If I like them, I torrent their albums. Saying that made me feel like a very bad person for not buying music :(

I just use iTunes.  I'd rather pay for my music than to have all the virus's you get from that.

I just use my Zune Pass for music. Can't really beat $15 a month for unlimited access to any song I can think of. Only issue is the DRM but that's no big deal.

Torrents are better for larger files.

I dislike Limewire and related services due to the legality. I agree to giving people credit where and when credit is due (music artists).
