Movie of the Year 2010 - The Expendables

Not sure if there's been any discussion about this flick, but I know this will be right up the alley of some folks on this site (Jeff I'm looking at you). 

Written, directed and starring Sly Stallone.  He plays the head of a team of mercenaries sent to take out a South American dictator.  Yeah, I know, that sounds pretty lame, but the rest of the cast will make your head explode:

Jason Statham
Jet Li
Mickey Rourke
Dolph Lundgren
Stone Cold Steve Austin
UFC great Randy Couture
And last but not least....Arnold Schwarzenegger

This should be a truly amazing film.

Edit:  Oh and Danny Trejo is in it....how the hell did I forget Danny Trejo?

This is...real? Wow. This could be fun but you have to admit it the cast sounds like a joke a friend told you about "the perfect action movie".

I know and that's what makes it so incredible.  There are photos from the set and everything.  The only part of this that I'm skeptical about is Arnold's involvement, but even that made it onto Rotten Tomatoes which I know is far more discriminating with its cast and crew information than IMDB.

This line-up sounds crazy. It's like the pipe-dream of a 13-year old. Too much badassery to be caught on camera.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is in this movie? How? Isn't he busy governating?
