It has recently come to my attention that there is no word in the current english dictionary that rhymes with the word "Purple".
The closest is "Curple", but that word hasn't been commonly used since quite some time ago and is no longer in any modern dictionaries.
So, care to dispute?
Know of any other words like this?
No word rhymes with purple.
Many of the words that are supposed to have no rhyme are myths. Purple is one of those myths. Both Hirple and Curple rhyme with it. And while I don't have access to a copy right now to check, I'm pretty sure the Oxford English Dictionary (which is THE definitive english dictionary) still lists both Hirple and Curple.
According to Merriam-Webster.com, those words do exist but you have to pay for a premium version of the dictionary in order to see the definitions. How lame is that?" *Edit: Hurple apparently is to walk with a limp. Curple is the ass of a horse essentially.*

" Well, according to the Academy Award-winning rap trio Three Six Mafia in their hit song "Stay Fly", "purple" rhymes with "yurple". The exact quote is "So purple, p-purple, p-purple and swallow it down with the yurple, y-yurple, y-yurple, it's going down". "I dare any of you to question the literary genius of three six mafia. Their grammatical prowess knows no bounds.
