completely agree. something needs to be done because the Yankees are BLATANTLY cheating. The Yankees consistently go over the payroll threshold resulting in luxury tax. Lets put this in perspective: The Yankees total team salary is over $200 million, the closest team to them is nearly $70 million below. In fact some players on the Yankees earn almost as much if not more than some entire mlb teams. What a joke. I can't stand Yankee fans here in California it makes me sick. Cheating doesn't always imply success so I don't know how you came to that conclusion. Also, it is pathetic they didn't make the playoffs last year and made themselves look idiotic for spending all of that money and failing to reach the playoffs. And yes it is cheating if they are able to simply buy out other team's prospects simply by offering a fatter check that a smaller market cannot match.

I could argue this whole steroid/BALCO shit for hours. In actuality, we have no right to know who took steroids and who didn't. At the time, there was no policy in the MLB that prohibited any kind of these performance enhancing drugs so most of these players did absolutely nothing wrong. You could probably find a steroid user on every World Series team since 1996. It was an era. It was just the thing that players did and it's in the past. But all this crap is for a different thread. This is about the current World Series, talking steroids is for another time and another thread.
