(dealing simply with the current post-season roster) Since 2007, the Phillies have had 13 new players come in from other systems not including their own farm system, compared to the 5 the Yankees have brought on. In 2008, the Phillies won the World Series.

thats a lame ass comparison. they brought in 13 new players, name them all for us. now tell me if anyone one of them make nearly as much as any one of the starters for the Yankees? and most of those "new" players were acquired by hard trades in which we sacrificed our best prospects.
Here's to hoping that next year, Feldman can keep the fire on the mound and get the rest of the Rangers off their goddamn asses and FINALLY bring home a pennant!
