Hey I was just wondering, what do you folks do? I mean what kinda jobs do you all have. I'm a tailor. I alter clothing and make custom jeans. What about all of you.
What do you do?
I'm an independent IT contractor. That being said I have a few companies that trade me back and forth and I occasionally moonlight somewhere else. Sometimes I work for 6 months straight, sometimes I have no work for months on end. That's the life of a contractor, however.
Mostly VPNs and fooling with those very expensive ATM cards, but I do some occasional troubleshooting when all else fails.
I work in the offices of the biggest tutoring company in the country, work as an english tutor myself, and translate english articles
In israel, you have to take a certain government exam (whose grade goes along with your high school certificate) so you can apply to university. My employing company is the leading institution in tutoring you and getting you ready to take that crucial exam.
I go to school. It's a pretty prestigious job. I get paid in verbal harassment and most of the time I get to do work of a questionable amount of usefulness.
I go to school, but I also draw maps of pipes, vents and stuff like that for a architectural company from time to time.

I don't actually make the maps, that would be disastrous. I just draw in already (on paper) existing maps into a program on the computer." @TheSeductiveMoose said:

Also, here's a pic for ya:
i go to college for multimedia. i am currently doing internship at the school. two days into it and it's boring. i do is listen to the bombcast and photoshop images. i have to look at horrible pictures that people at student activities takes crop them, rotate the image so they aren't crooked, clone-stamp the edges. it's pretty boring.
I'm a college freshman but I also work at my local grocery store stocking shelves. It's not a terrible job and the people in the department make the days a lot more bearable.
Some of you have some cool jobs. I was surprised no one said "tightening up the graphics on level 5" Have any of you that have finished college actually gone into a profession that takes advantage of your major. Im thinking about going back and was wondering how that worked out for those out there with some sort of degree.
Unemployed! Just like a TRUE AMERICAN!
Wait, what?
Actually, I'm at college, and don't really have the time/means to have a job in addition to my studies. Well, I probably have the time for something, but I'm too lazy for that.
