What do you do for a living?

I myself work for an awesome paying magazine called PcPlay. And yes,it is the greatest job EVAR (With an a of course :)),but not just because of the games,but because i am surruonded by gamers all day long :D

I'm still in college getting my CS degree.

@Anteater: I should have elaborated more. I'm actually going to be starting college next month. I just graduated from high school back in May.

I could have got an internship with  Northrop Grumman. A few of my professors work there, and they recruit their students. One of my professors offered a job once I graduated. I wasn't really sure how serious he was though.

i'm a student that wastes my time with nonsense and creating ridiculous videos with my friends.  
 
it's an exciting life to some degree. 

i haul wind turbines all over the united states and canada. i'm usually pulling individual turbine blades or turbine generators. once on the wind farm, i also work with a construction crew to build them.  i get paid by the hour to haul them. i get paid even more to build them. it's all good. hotel stays are paid for by the company.

@discost3w: Enjoy that while it lasts. I had some glorious time spent as a bum between school and real life.  
 
I'm still a bum now though, it's just less glorious. I go to college, but sadly, that costs money rather than earning it.

currently a full time student (Bachelors degree in IT) and in my first year.

On some weekends I'm a DJ in various clubs in my region. Until June I worked at a recordstore as well (a really small one, just one worker at a time in there), but sadly it's shutting down now so I had to be asked to quit. Shame, but nothing you can do about it especially how "well" the physical format of music is doing these days.
 
So yeah, unemployed with some DJ-ing here and there. :(

I'm a student with part-time construction work. 

High school, which I love. In college I'm going to major in Journalism and then go on to write for some kind of gaming/electronics related magazine or website. Speaking of, @anteater how did you get the job working on PcPlay? Because I have no idea how I'm going to get a job for a magazine or website haha

Got my certification 1st back when I was with Sun Microsystems then worked for RMJM for a while as a graphics programmer and 3D artist. Now I do it freelance since construction industry isn't booming these days.

Studying level design in college. Yes, I am going to make video games.

Currently working in IT, as a consultant, doing stuff from web design/development, to HMI. It's varied, it pays, but that's about it. Looking into starting my own business.

You ever just scroll through a thread without reading a single word, and then realize what you're doing and have no idea what the thread is even about? Yeah, that just happened to me.

I go to college and work as a lifeguard over the summer.

Full time student, part time financial sponge. It works pretty well and is astoundingly fulfilling. 

I write some on the side and profit from college funding mostly.

Aside from an autorepair business I own, I am the Chief Technical Officer of a PC Repair firm. Basically I manage shipping and receiving, online sales, the website, and our general internet presence (Facebook, Twitter, et al).

I'm in a sweet desk job now though, after ten years of being "on the beat". 

SysAdmin. Mainly UNIX systems. Mostly mail and databases.

I just work in a mini-supermarket but aspiring to be a photographer. I'd like to do conventions and stuff like that but that needs money which is hard to save seeing as I have to pay my own way whilst still living with my parents =/
