My e-reader already has. It's ten times more comfortable to use than a book; holding books open is such a dated concept now!

Assuming a e-book is well done i prefer it to a paper copy as i like to read laying down and its easier to turn pages.

I have a Kindle and love having so many books at my immediate disposal - but I still can't help wandering into a book store and picking up something new to physically hold and read.

I just donated almost all of my books. I actually plan to use the local library from now on.

It already has. I had a Kindle for a while, then I got an iPad and that did it for me.

it came close back when Kindle used the Digital Ink technology(that was the only time I ever considered purchasing one), now that it's just another basic tablet it won't though. I'm fine with my paper copies.

It hasn't yet, but almost certainly will. I shift a lot while reading in bed, so I have to constantly adjust my reading lamp. To not have to do that again is good incentive.

It already has for me. Besides textbooks and other school materials, all my reading is done using either my iPhone or my Kindle.
