Um....because it looks good? Because Frank Darabont is producing it? Because zombies are still all the rage? Because it was a comic book? I dunno. I dont think theres one set specific reason for people to see this. Im gonna watch it because it looks fantastic.
None of those things. I'm old enough to just buy candy from the source and hoard it for myself, and I tend not to watch much other than House. TV is boring. So is House these days, now that I think about it, but screw it, I need ONE show to follow.

The reason I ask is because I watched a trailer for it. Here's what I posted in another thread: It looked like Deadly Premonition, meets Me, Myself, and Irene, meets 28 Days Later. And when I say, "meets 28 Days Later," I mean the entire intro is a complete rip-off of 28 Days Later.
Neither. I'm playing Amnesia. I won't ever, ever see a comic adaptation in my whole life after V for Vendetta. Well, Nolan's Batman, yes, I will. But nothing else. I'm perfectly fine with the comics, thank you.

I don't know about that, but the whole point of this series is that (I'm paraphrasing Kirkman the writer) it is a Zombie movie that won't end. So, basically you'll see all these character who started off as normal civilians and as shit goes down and the world gets harder and harder on them, you see them physically and mentally changing. They do things they would have never even thought of doing. This is why it is such an amazing series. Cause in most Zombie movies the whole cast just die, but in the series people die left and right and new people are found. Honestly, I suggest you read it because it is that one comic-book series that I seriously show no embarresment when I tell people I read it.

It made me laugh....
It's getting a lot of attention because of the people involved (Darabont mainly) and the source material is apparently loved by a good deal of people. Also zombies are apparently still really popular. Even I, someone who is really sick of the zombie craze, will probably check it out.
I'm gonna watch it... when it airs on the interwebs. That - or I'll have to wait for a half a year to a year for it to be aired on local cable (if it's being aired at all). That's not gonna happen. Especially not because I can't stand German VOs. They suck so hard.
So I'm gonna watch it on Monday sometime. Guess I'm gonna go out drinking or playing games. Undead Nightmare might rise to the occassion.
