What's an xbox worth?

So I was doing some cleaning. I have an old xbox (not a 360) with 2 controllers, dvd remote and 4 or 5 games..how much should I put it on craigslist for? Or should I just drop it off at Goodwill or something? Thoughts?

The games are Battlefront 2, Halo 2, Dungeons and Dragons, Mech something (assault maybe) and at least one other that is escaping me at the moment.

Try throwing it up on kijiji.ca and you may be able to get $20-$30 if you are lucky. Honestly though, your best bet is to just give it away.

Try for a higher price and if it doesn't sell go lower.

Sell it as a blunt object.  I imagine one could easily cave in a guy's skull with an Xbox, but only if they could lift it first.

You've probably sold it already, but something like this is $30-$40. Battlefront 2 is a hard game to find for a reasonable price so...

I found an OG box listed for sale and they claim "never used". Ummmmm...is there anyway to determine that? Is there an internal usage clock in hours of use or something?

@gsrgofass: Well it should be in it's original packaging. If it's not then it doesn't really matter if it's been used or not dies it?

I'd probably see if you can trade the games for in-store credit at a local game shops or pawnshop that's not one of the big rip off stores like gamestop. Not sure how much you'd honestly get for the Xbox though, I've been able to pick up a used Xbox with controllers and dvd remote for between $5-$10 bucks at Goodwill. They actually had stacks of them at my local Goodwill last time I was there.

This is an old thread, but if anybody's still asking, the answer to "what should I do with my old Xbox" is "softmod it and play old games on it".

In any case, you're not going to get much from selling an old Xbox. You might as well hold onto it and see if the console ever goes up in value, or keep it in case you need something to occupy visiting kids with at some point in your life, or maybe you'll just want to pull it out one day and play it for thirty minutes.

Just keep it. I sold my original xbox because I was moving and regret it.

If you have very limited storage space you gotta do what you gotta do, but I also regret selling old consoles and a couple of the more unusual computers I've owned in the past. That stuff is fun to break out and mess around with years later.
