Yes yes we know you're gonna install it and play with settings, but seriously...what is the one thing you're gonna do first with the game? 
 
For me it's a couple stuff: 
 

• A License At Least (for Endurance Runs)
• Buy Cars I Own In The Real World
• Wreck As Many Cars As I Can, it's been a long time coming.

I have been asking my self this for a while. I don't know the answer yet. Probably just start crying.

I lost the 'faith' a loooooong time ago. Can't rational justify the waiting time for what it wants to deliver. 
 
Let me make it clear though I LOVED GT4 to bits. You can really get into the driving skills for certain cars especially on the nurburgring but that game will suck you life dry.

I'll just sit there listening to the Bossa Nova menu music and take it all in for a moment. Then let out a Tim the Tool Man Taylor grunt and purchase my first car.

I will try and plug my PS2 steering wheel in to my PS3 and when I realise it doesn't work I will pretend it does by gaffa taping my PS3 controller to it.

I remmeber trying to hook up my psONE wheel for GT4 and failing miserably

• Pikes Peak Rally Race with the Suzuki Escudo (I can't be the only one thinking this, right?!?)
• Make some good progress in the career mode
• Multiplayer on the Top Gear test track (We might have to try out car soccer in a way that can only be done right on the Top Gear track [online mode & physics permitting])
• In the long run... I wouldn't be opposed to a GT5 Race Night akin to what the Forza duders are up to (not sure if I'd be the best organizer, but I'd sure like to help in some way).

Go to a friends house. I've already checked so it's all good. I shall then chat to him briefly about it, before taking a moment to flip through the cars available. And then possibly we shall take a slow cruise through a track. Before someone guns the engine and we see what Gran Turismo 5 is all about. The game has been in development for six years - GT4 released in 2004. I cannot wait to see the reason I was considering a Playstation 3 running in ffront of me.
 
And then if it turns out decent I will be torn between purchasing an iPod Touch or a Playstation 3 this Christmas.

Had a long think on this one. Think I'll try to work out what I need to do to unlock the  Adrian Newey X1 prototype and do my best to drill down to that. Then see if I can beat Sebastian Vettel's lap time 1:31:54 of Suzuka.

Then I want to get an old Red Mazda MX-5, and a US Black Integra (in honor of my now dead IRL Integra), an old red Mini, and tour the various courses.
 
I'm also gonna pick up one of the relatively older Subaru Imprezas and rally like hell (Hate the newest one, makes me sad).

Probably take a look through the initial cars that can be purchased, and started working on whatever "Beginner" cup races they have to start off.
 
I never usually went into the license tests until I had to, to progress.

I will sit there and look at the box since I'll be in the middle of my exam period and have to wait another couple of weeks before actually playing the game.

Seriously though probably go right into the licenses, and then maybe browse the car selections.

I honestly have no idea, considering I've never played a Gran Turismo game before. Try to find the mode that allows me to get to driving a car the easiest, I guess.

I will take the slowest car I can find and then drive 100 rounds Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Gloss over all the menus that are available to new comers.
 
Then go get at least 2 levels of license.
 
Check online really quick to test out general lag.
 
Play until I have bought all the cars I ever owned in real life.
 
Then go nuts and RACE, RACE, RACE!
