    Seriously, in a game where random shit can happen and fuck you over, why the fuck are there no checkpoints?

    Open world games rarely have checkpoints.

    There are actually some in some missions where you don't jump right back to the start of the mission.

    Hey it's the only real answer.
     
    I agree that it could use some but I honestly never felt overly frustrated or anything playing the game. I'm sure the next GTA will have some form of checkpoints, even if its just the same system that was used in the DLC.

    Yeah, there really isn't any excuse for not having checkpoints.

    Seriously, I have no idea what the hell I am suppose to do when I am on the motor bike  chasing Pegaroni and whenever I jump off the ramp and ruin my bike, I have to shoot up that whoel area again.

    You have to hit the center of the ramp at a decent speed, you'll then enter a cut-scene
