1. I believe that Halo 2 requires more skill than Halo 3
2. I believe that the beatdown system in Halo 3 is broken (two people should never die at the same time)
3. I believe that assault rifles should have stayed in Halo 1
4. I believe that it should not take 2 seconds to equip the sword

Confession: I still play Halo 2
"I believe Halo 2's campaign is more fun."Yeah, my friend and I were talking about Halo last night. He's late to the Halo 3 party and has been left completely underwhelmed by the single player campaign. I personally like Halo 3 multiplayer a lot, but I have to agree. When you consider that Halo 3 is supposed to be a AAA title, it just seems more and more disappointing the further we go on.
Right on. I went back and played Halo 2 online with a friend maybe like two months ago. It was a lot of fun. Halo 2 is definitely the online game I've played the most, and in many ways, I think I still prefer it's multiplayer over Halo 3's, even though I still think Halo 3's is quite awesome. However, when we went back, we noticed it took a very long time to get into any matchmaking games. It seriously took like 5 minutes. Not sure why... So then we just stuck to custom games.
yeah to find a game quickly you have to play during primetime lol ... I usually am online right after school and evenings on the weekend
oh yeah! does it make you feel happy inside when both you and the other guy punch each other to death at the SAME TIME... does it bring you pleasure when you get killed by an assault rifle because it takes fucking forever to get the sword out!
haha I actually stopped playing ranked after I got to 35 because everyone on my team always sucked lol

I loved the first Halo and played some of Halo 2 but couldn't really get into it. I got up to the part where you take control of the Arbiter and lost interest. Needless to say, I haven't played Halo 3. As far as the "confession" thing goes, it's not something to be ashamed of. As long as you enjoy what you're playing, the game is serving its purpose.
I did the confession thing as a joke because a bunch of people were posting about how no one plays halo2 anymore and shit lol
I find that Halo 2 is less balanced than halo 3. Which is what makes it better. Balance can really ruin the fun sometimes. Also Halo 3's online play is fairly busted. Lots of "Holy fucking shit that motherfucker should be fucking Iced this fucking game sucks..." moments, while in Halo 2 when you kill someone you feel that's how it should've worked, and when you don't there's rarely an argument.

Halo 3 does just about everything possible to coddle new players, and reduces the outcomes of matchups between closely skilled players to little more than a coin flip. In Halo 2, the better player wins; in Halo 3, the luckier player wins.
OP: If you enjoy Halo 2 more than Halo 3, then Halo 1 will blow your mind.
"oh yeah! does it make you feel happy inside when both you and the other guy punch each other to death at the SAME TIME... does it bring you pleasure when you get killed by an assault rifle because it takes fucking forever to get the sword out!"I think the simultaneous beatdowns are okay, since all beatdowns are calculated by comparing each players combined shield and health value it's all relative to damage done and therefore in my opinion fair. As for the Energy Sword I understand your gripe but it's a one-hit kill weapon which can be almost completely hidden from the enemy, again I think it's only fair that it takes some time to draw it.
