A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.
So after playing some campaign and some multiplayer I jumped onto firefight myself, and my god is it fun when you have unlimited and and infinite health. Check out the most recent round I had! :P
I woulda thought just jumping around and holding down the trigger would be less fun. Can't knock it til I try it though. Roll on Tuesday (or Monday hopefully)
Is default firefight still challenging? I remember being surprised when playing it in ODST on just normal by myself and finding the AI to be surprisingly hard for just normal.
I imagine the whole invincibility sensation might be pretty boring after the first few times. Fortunately, there's a Firefight Score Attack playlist with a leaderboard á la Geometry Wars.
@Lebensbaum: Yeah, it's just a novelty and a nice easy way to get an achievement. Well a bunch of achievements. I can't wait to get 3 friends to play this all legit though!
Unlimited armor ability energy in custom games options. With jetpack. I assume that it would be ballin', but I'm not lucky enough to have an early copy.
You could even do it better if you lowered the gravity and increased your jump height [it's in the settings]. With max jump and the lowest gravity, you'll jump like 30m and stay in the air for 10 seconds. The most points I got with one shot(also the RPG in a bonus round) was 23,000 points. There was an entire legion of enemies in one spot. I also had the setting where it almost always uses a drop ship so maybe that made the enemies bunched up together more.
