He has a great knowledge of all thigns botanical, as well as the powerful Hornet Chaser weapon, which tracks down foes and grabs items. Hornet Man is not fond of the Magma Bazooka, which easily dispatches he and his hornets. Hornet Man's stage has a number of platforms which can be shot in order to extend them, though if Mega Man is slow footed, they will throw him back where he began.
