@thesupernatural: Yup, got it memorised for years now. Thanks, PGR2. (God, that's almost 11 years now)
He lives in Germany, he probably drives it daily.
Their schools probably teach it in geography class.

didnt have the cars for last weekend :( will def. make it for at least one event this weekend though... hopefully both. currently spectating some bottom split rookie streete stocks.... races on the hour every hour, bust out the popcorn, its some good stuff.
edit: the finish of the race i just spectated.... yup lol.
Get hype for BOMBCAR indeed. Really curious how that track will turn out.
Also Mid-Ohio for the other two...god I suck at that track. I like it, but I'm just really awful at it. I don't even know the short layout we use in FD.
The short layout is the same as the full layout, but it cuts out the hairpin at T2 and the straight leading up to it. T2 is basically right after T1 on the short layout.
It basically takes the best passing opportunity away lol. I really suck at Mid Ohio too, although the Star Mazda shouldn't be nearly as tough there as a lot of the other cars. Still gotta be careful about gunning it over the hills though
@thesupernatural: Eh, not really. T2 will still be a good spot for overtaking.
Less than 24 hours until we visit the beautiful, sunny state of California!
Hey, that's where I live! Well, Norcal. Closest track to me is Sonoma
ugh I'm a hazard on the racetrack ugh ugh ugh *mopes around for hours*
SLOWBIRD, I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUU
First it was acceleration problems for me in the DW12, now it's braking problems. I'm either locking up or spinning almost every time I get on the brakes. Adios SR
Quiet race for me in FD. Had the pace to fight with you guys up front, but spins cost me something like 22 seconds, so it was not to be.
Who wants to practise GBGT at Mid-Ohio for 2 hours? Everybody, that's who. Come be everybody!
@bigherolp: Welcome! There's a race starting in about 30 minutes if you have Mid-Ohio and one of the GT3 cars :D
@slowbird (SINCE YOU'RE NOT ON TWITTER.):
I wouldnt've fought so hard if it were for 2nd and 3rd, but since @mouse got in the mix with his fuel business, I desperately needed that 3rd place :/
Also really unfortunate netcode incident with @c0braje7, that battle could've been a whole lot different if you had gotten in front :(
Congratulations to @khann for a dominant race performance!
EDIT:
BONUS! That's why you don't drive a Ford.
Well Mid-Ohio was pretty good for me this weekend. Messed up FD, but GBGT went pretty well.
Speaking of Formula Duder.. unless I've miscalculated, congratulations to @travis_mihm, the Formula Duder S3 champion! :D A dominant season, that's for sure.
@iron1c: YOU'RE A TWITTER.
Also I would have been okay if I didn't lock the brakes going into turn 2 on the last lap. And again I'm sorry to @c0braje7 for coming back on the track and forcing you to the grass at the end. I'm really getting worse at driving cleanly because you all are getting faster and I'm not and it makes me drive like an idiot trying to keep up :(
Welcome to my Season 2 experience.
I was not going to do the zero stop, but since I spun on lap one I switched to fuel saving and went for it. Although, I guess it would have been possible to catch you guys normally since you had that battle (had ~12 seconds to catch you before you began pitting).
By the way, you guys have yourselves to blame for my result. I didn't look at fuel at all before the race to know what I did was possible. I would have just pitted like you guys. So, thanks I guess. :D
Weird how BOMBCAR and GBGT ended up being a lot more fun for me than Formula Duder this weekend. Maybe I picked the wrong series to take seriously lol.
I doubt I'll be driving the RUF next season. The McLaren looks like a lot of fun, but I have no idea how much different it handles from the BMW.
@thesupernatural: Just gonna put this out there again for all you oval haters: BOMBCAR is the best series of the weekend.
@thesupernatural: All 3 of the GT3 cars have pretty different handling.
GBGT was a great race today for everyone involved. Sure there was drama but that's racing. I was super impressed at Mouse, great fuel management and comeback after a rough turn 1 on lap 1. The battles were awesome and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I'm glad I took the time to join the league and each week the racing gets better and better. Ironic and Slowbird had a serious battle and I had a front row seat. Arguably the best seat in the house! At times I wish I was driving the BMW (I seemed to have that car dialed in) but I enjoy switching it up from time to time. The McLaren is growing on me. Who knows though, I might switch over to the dark side and drive the Porsche, at least I could help people out with fuel management (not that Mouse needs it!)
Good job everyone and congrats on the win Khann, well deserved!

Thanks, duder! It was super close: 0.1 gallons in the tank when I crossed the line (last few laps were scary). I'm just glad my worn tires gave me understeer instead of oversteer. I always prefer to fight for spots, but some guys have had similar fuel fortune in the past so I guess it was just my turn. :D
Team RUF welcomes anyone who wants to come over; our cars come standard with a stereo and power windows. :P There is a possibility of myself switching cars, only if iRacing releases the Ford GT in this class; I always liked that car, and it would be my third season in the RUF so a change would be nice.
Anyway, I hear next weekend is going to be fun. I hope everyone has collision insurance (that will make sense soon)!
@khann: I don't have it wrapped up quite yet. You can still challenge for the win, especially if I happen to not show up for some reason, which will be possible as I'm getting ready to go back to Michigan (I miss my dogs and guns and race cars and it's ****ing hot in Florida ALL THE ****ing **** g****** poiqwejrhouioiquwhkjhgpo time... but I digest). I don't know for sure when I'll head back yet, but I'll probably hold off til after the weekend of the last GBFD race.
Right now I'm up 19 points and have used both of my drop weeks, so I have to show up to get 9 weeks in. You already have 9 weeks in, and have one drop week to use. Your lowest points score is 8 in Round 2. So, you can increase your points total a maximum of 25 points next week if you take all 3 bonus points. I have to score seven points to mathematically seal the title. If I show up, I'll probably win the championship even if I finish last. If I don't, then you have to score 19+8+1=27 points for the week in order to pass me in the standings and take the championship. So, the lowest you can finish is 2nd, AND you need to get two of the three bonus points: or win if you can't go 2-for-3 on bonus points.
I sure hope that's right. It's 4:30AM here and it's my "Friday Night" haha. So... beer and morning time isn't conducive to intellectual capacity...

@travis_mihm: Right you are. Thought you had a 29 point lead. Bit premature then ;)
Bit of a long shot for me though, whether you show up or not. If nothing else, I can make the gap a bit smaller.
@khann: I don't have it wrapped up quite yet.
So you're saying I have a chance. Last to first in 2 races here we go!
Just raced the Star Mazda at Road Atlanta in the public series. Damn, it is fun to drive. Lots of high speed corners and plenty of places to overtake. I downloaded a setup from the forums and it took me to a fortunate 4th place finish (bottom split of course, half the field didn't finish the race), although the car definitely had more downforce than necessary. Next weekend is going to be fun :D
I'd love that Dive Bombing one! Looks cool.
I tried joining the final IndyCar race at Sonoma this week, but it didn't go official. I wasn't aware that SR still counts during unofficial races. I don't remember it counting during the Week 13 races... weird. I lost .19 SR because of it :(
@thesupernatural: Yep, unofficial races during the regular season are different from unofficial Week 13 races in that regard.
@slowbird: I got DQ'd after my car started breakdancing. Was just having fun with the only other guy in there, who got DQ'd as well. Oh well. The Star Mazda is so much fun that I'm not sure if I want to drive anything else. IndyCar/GT3 would probably be mostly for participation credits.
Although IndyCar is at Spa this week... that's too hard to pass up. I'll race anything at Spa
Edit: Just took another SR hit in the Star Mazda race. I've seen it in this league and public sessions and I don't understand. People are lifting mid corner, and it's very dangerous driving. Exceptions can be made when you're communicating what you're doing, but it simply isn't predictable. Getting wiped out by a car braking hard mid-corner and then getting blamed for the crash is not fun.
@slowbird You should really get back on Twitter, because look what you've done. Now you made me post this work-in-progress screenshot of the fake-Gen6 rFactor 2 cars in this thread.
I really like their mix of Chevy and Ford parts...hope thats not just WIP but actually stays that way:/
