I downloaded and beat Journey last night, I am not crazy when I say it is the best thing on the Playstation Store, one of the best PS3 games and one of the best games of all time. I can think of nothing wrong with this game!

• One of the prettriest games I have ever witnessed.
• The soundtrack fits the game perfectly and is full of emotion.
• Best use of multiplayer I have ever seen in a game ever.
• Your mouth will be left open at multiple parts in the game.
• Very simple yet very awesome.
• Perfect Length - This is one thing some people do not like, but I explain below why it needs to be this long.

It took me about 2-3 hours, but for the money that I paid and what I got out of it I felt it was well worth the money. I also think if the game was longer it would be worse for it, because I think that Journey is best when completed in one sitting, any longer and it would have not been as easy to complete in one sitting.

Journey is the best game I have played this year, I highly recommend this game to everybody. But if you have also played it, was there anything you didn't like about Journey?

Nope, I cannot, honestly it's probably the best gaming experience I have ever had, it is so amazing and unique, At this point I have run out of words to describe, just how astonishing this experience (game) really was, from the gorgeous and veried art design (best looking game I've ever played) to the surprsingly great multiplayer integration, this is already my GOTY, so again no, I can't think of any way to improve it, other than letting you experience the game for the first time, once again.

Not my kind of game, but looks interesting I guess. Kinda hate most artsy-fartsy games. Flower especially. If it's anything like that, than I'll probably hate it.

Game needs more hyperbole. I need a better Television to fully appreciate this game''s graphics.

Some better gameplay, some decent multiplayer or none at all, less pretentious indie-darling "OMG we made our game so pretty that you ignore the fact it's just a basic platformer!" vibe.

I can think of one thing: Put it on other systems. This is one among a handful games I wish I had a PS3 for.

Guns with laser sights and camo gear. More jungle less desert and... just kidding.

Thatgamecompany seem invested in the PS3, I doubt it will ever go to anything else.

They could have not locked it behind a pay wall for a week.

I don't get what makes the multiplayer so incredible that people are jizzing their pants over it? It seems like Demon's/Dark Souls does the same thing, but with more depth.

Other than that, it looks like another one of those games that people will latch onto due to minimalistic storytelling and a striking visual style. Unfortunately, I won't be able to play the game, because I don't have a PS3 right now. But from what I've seen, I'm expecting "Limbo" levels of overrating.

Played about an hour last night and was utterly, utterly blown away. It feels wonderful to play and it looks gorgeous.

Already can't wait to start over so I can find stuff that I missed. I love that it just drops you in and lets you explore, no explanation of anything. It ticks those boxes in the same way Demon's/Dark Souls did for me. I wish more games would do that, or at least have the option to do it. Feels so classic.

I can think of a very obvious one: being a PS3-exclusive. That's something that deserves much improvement.

I always figured I'd enjoy Journey, that I'd like its visuals, that I'd dig the co-operative elements and the exploration, it looked like a fun experimental downloadable title. However, I did not expect to be utterly dumbfounded by how completely amazing the experience was. Fucking incredible. One of the most beautiful pieces of media I have ever experienced. Forgive me if that makes me a wanker, but goddamn if it didn't inspire feelings in me that I haven't felt in a long time.

I know I'm overhyping it, that in a weeks time all of the people who have already decided that this is a lame, overrated art game will buy it and complain about and look down on the people praising it. They'll use words like "overrated" "overhyped" and "overpriced", they'll begin to exaggerate and talk about the game like it's trash. It'll balance those of us who are heaping on the superlative praise, I suppose. I doesn't really matter, though. For my money it's a fucking incredible videogame.

Everyone I've seen so far that has had anything negative to say about Journey hasn't played it yet. Don't worry about how the game sounds on paper. Just play it.

Machine guns would've improved this game, unfortunately it's a machine gun less game.

I own a PS3 but have no interest in artsy fartsy games like this, already played limbo and didn't enjoy that game.

So while they may go multiplatform in future games, they won't be for Journey.

If this was on PC then this kind of thing would be right up my alley. Especially with the boost in visuals it would get on PC. But oh well.

Serious question. If I like real stories or fantastic gameplay to carry a game, will I enjoy journey? Pretty visuals are fine, but not a reason to play a game for me. Implied stuff, also fine, but I need something more. The closest game I can think of to this(based on having not played it) that I beat and enjoyed was Shadow of the Colossus. Even then I'm not as "OMG BEST EVER" as everyone else. I can't even think of any others right now because I've sort of just ignored them.

I would have loved the unlockable option to play with a friend after I beat the game with random people and got the "true" experience.

Soooooooo.......yeah, this game is pretty fucking amazing. Like, playing without noticing that your mouth has been open for the entire chapter amazing. The soundtrack was nothing short of perfect and the sunset chapter was probably the most beautiful thing I've seen in a game. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with this game. Part of me wishes it was longer but that most likely have the effect of lessening the importance and magnitude of what is already there.

Well, now that you mention it...

It's like they took notes on classic/emotional parts of videogames, reduced them down to bare essentials, and then wove it all in to perfectly paced 2 hour experience.

This game reminded me how brilliant games are. It gives me a lot of hope for the future of the medium.

People always say these pretentious art games are no fun, but this was probably the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time.

I think it's perfect the way it is. No stand out flaws come to me, my opinion of course.
