Ugh... The amount of bullets needed to kill someone in this game is really getting to me. I'll unload an entire clip on somebody, and they wont die. And i know i'm hitting them, because when you hit somebody a little red X appears in the middle of your screen, and 20 gallons of blood pours out of the enemy... Just pointing that out, because if you hear me screaming in the background over voice-chat, it's not directed at you or anyone else. It's just me screeching in frustration.  =P

I think it would suit Giant Bomb well.  Our first match is against GameSpot's System Wars.

Ok guys I just asked Gamespot for a clan vs clan match so get your skills all shiny and your shooting gloves ready, thats if they accept, here is the link to the challenge if anyone wants to add anything to it.

Upcoming changes in the coming week:

1.  Officers will be responsible for a set number of users.  This is how we'll set up squads.  Squads will work with their officers to train, thus making it easier in official battles.  I'll make a list by looking at who has what rank, just make sure you play with your Officer and fellow Squad members at all times possible.
2.  Debating if Clan only matches will be Mic ONLY.  This will ultimately be left up to the clan as a whole.  Rank is meaningless if you can't play with the team.
3.  Updating the front page to make it more professional and making my blog updated for news and whatnot.  I want all Officers to do the same with their blog to update their members.
4.  Aggressive Marketing to promote Giant Bomb. 
5.  Maintain a sold SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for us and figure out where we are.
6.  Get to know all of you better.  Communication is key...make sure everyone knows who each other are.
7.  We NEED Banners, and other creative stuff for the official Killzone 2 site, or else we won't get promoted on the site!  Pass this to fellow non-KZ2 Giant Bombers.  The sooner the better.  Some of us were thinking about having the Giant Bomb logo with a Helghast eyes/mask replacing the laughing bomb.

Some of you might think of my ideas as being to "business-like", but it helps in the long run.  The biggest thing will be the Officers and their members.  This will be 100% sorted out by Saturday, so get ready for your Officer/Members.  Learn to play as a team...and be careful.  System Wars clan is very strong...they think of us as a joke.

So don't talk trash around them, it'll just bite our asses if we lose/win.  Be humble and make Giant Bomb proud!

I was wondering if it'd be possible if i was in Bucketdeth's squad.
I know him in real life  we're friends so making plans for our squad to train and such would be easier.
I think that'd really help the clan in the long run since i'd be used to strategies and such with him.

No problem Kaos. I don't really care whos in my squad, whoever wants to be. As for which role I'll play during matches, I'm thinking either medic, saboteur, our scout. Haven't unlocked scout yet and just got the saboteur so I may change my mind later.

Well, being me I have no friends with which to be in a squad, and of course my mic has just broken, will someone take pity on me?

Just thought I'd play around with some banner-ness.  Didn't really include whole bunches of Killzone related stuff, since we've already made a clan in the game.  So I just focused on saying who we are/where we're from.  Not saying THAfara did a bad job, just wanted to put some more out there.

So, yeah. I'm really coming into my own as a Scout. Definitely my favorite class, hands down. Spot and Mark is such a handy ability to have, as well. I take down who I can, and get the rest marked.

Oh, and as far as squads go - it's probably best to split the Scouts up among them. One per, maybe. Since we're usually hanging back.

Should also send some mail in to the Bombcast to get some more exposure. :P
