Wait it out for a couple of weeks and we'll hopefully all know the price. :o)

Kinect is a camera and depth sensor-based peripheral for the Xbox 360 that allows users to interact with and play games using their whole bodies, rather than using a standard controller.
Project Natal To Launch At $150?
It's kind of hard to judge a price point because we don't really know exactly what Natal is capable of. Microsoft has done a lot of talking about Natal but not a whole lot of showing, besides E3 last year with Milo and the other tech demos. We still don't really know what this does for real games.
" @buzz_killington said:You're comparing a game proven to change the foundations of platform game design to a camera with literally zero interesting looking applications as it stands." $150 for an Eye Toy? YO FUCK THAT SON "Next, you should talk about how Mario 64 was just another Mario game. "
Next, you should talk about how HD-DVD was just another media platform.
" @ColumnBreaker: One of those things is 2D and the other has 3D capabilities, saying they are the same thing is incorrect just like if someone said it was just another Mario. Again, not comparing Natal to Mario 64(lol), I'm saying both statements are wrong. "That extra dimension is meaningless if it's not used properly, and if it's not used properly like their lineup of games and demos they've shown would suggest, it is just another 2d camera that happens to be able to play boring games.
$150 USD would equate to something a lot then what I would be paying for it in Aussie dollars and I don't think I would even pay 150 for it in our money. I intend to sit tight and wait for the games to come out because I have no intention on forking out that kind of cash to play WiiSports on my Xbox.
How about this: make a console that can do 1080p at 60fps, with more polygons on screen than before. Throw in mouse support. Motion control is demented.
novelty item. nothing more. old people and little kids might like it a lot... for all of us though... nope.
" I feel like that is expensive, but the bundled unit sounds fine EDIT: oh also first... "edit edit: oh, you're a douchebag.
Yes yes they are, wanna know how many of them I purchased? 0" @RE_Player92 said:
" @dezvous said:God...those prices are real. Those are actual, real life prices. "" @glitznglam_style said:Could I interest you in a new 60gb hard drive for $100? "" That's not cheap at all. It's utterly ridiculous. I would've picked one up, but not at that price. Not a chance in freaking hell, Microsoft. Not a goddamn chance. "Could I interest you in a 100 dollar Wireless Network Adapter? "
When Michael Pachter was talkin' $50, I was interested. When rumors surfaced closer to a full game price, I was still open. At $150 I am completely closed off. I better be able to virtually feel up the DOA girls for that price, and since I doubt that's going to be a selling feature, I'm going to have to take a pass on Natal until it comes down to something more reasonable. And it will. If it starts at $150, then Microsoft has wiggle room to drop the price and make us all think we are getting at bargain at $99 next year. I can wait until Natal is cheap and hopefully by then there will be more available for the device than Wii-clone games. Until then, let's see if Sony's Move will be priced more sensibly. I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
I knew it was all too good
but anyone realize that the move is more than this probably since it requires multiple controllers but this just need one thing
So not only does it suck a shit ton of power away from my 360, but its sucking all this cash. I love my 360 and this thing is making it worse, and it's not even out yet
Come now. The N64 expansion pack was used far more than the Wii motion plus is being used now. I can name three significant games that support the WMP off the top of my head (Wii Sports Resort and... Red Steel 2? Oh, and Tiger Woods, I guess).
I can name 3 games that required the Expansion pack (DK64, Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask) and a few more that supported it (Resident Evil 2. Rouge Squadron). That's... 5! And those were some of the N64's better games. Plus it was already packed in, and you didn't need to buy more than one, so I consider the comparison less than great.
Now if we talked about the wii speak, or Rob the Robot. Or the Controller Pack. Or the GBA to Gamecube link cable. Or the E Reader. Or the Super Scope. You get the idea.
Someone on Kotaku commented that what if they're just throwing out the 150 price point, so that when the 100 dollar price point is shown people will perceive it as a bargain. I'm willing to get behind that theory.

I'm willing to get behind that theory. "Agreed, though I guess they definitely doing this because many of the Wii audience only purchased the console for novelty purposes, and have not since purchased any games. They want to make sure that it can move games before they think about minimizing the initial 'profit' margin.
but hey, even so, here's hoping the rumor's not true and it's going to launch at less than $100, because that would really kick ass.
I really can't see myself using it very much, No matter what the price.
But I will say Under $100 and I WILL buy it, Over $100 and they can fuck themselves since I'll never use the damn thing anyway.

I still have mine and like 6 games for it, I actually played Yoshis safari just a couple weeks ago.....
$150 standalone, $300 bundle with console
Would be perfect. $150 isn't bad. People who bitch about the price fail to realize that MS charges $50 for controllers, and nintendo makes you buy a wiimote and nunchuck separate, also wii motion+
For less than the price of 3 games you can get a natal...and if they bundle each natal with a game, even if it's a shitty tech demo mini game collection it still isn't a bad deal.
" Yeah $150 for what the $50 EyeToy from Sony is already doing isn't cheap. "Quiet, fanboy. I hear the PS3 is getting a Wiimote....
