If you were waiting around for Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West to hit Xbox Live Marketplace like I was, bunker down for an even longer (or perhaps permanent) wait. In a chat with Joystiq, Paradox Interactive's CEO Fredrik Wester has suggested that Lead and Gold won't ever see an XBLM release. Priorities might have been placed elsewhere.

"It seems like we have to put it on the backburner," he said. "We're not really putting any more effort into releasing on XBLA, so I would say if you want to play the game, you should do it on PC or PSN, because we're not really sure that we can ever release it on XBLA. Or that we're ever going to release it on XBLA."

Whatever.  If they don't want more sales on what is probably the most popular console platform for these digital download games, so be it.

Oh well, I'm happy with the 360 versions of Red Dead and TF2 anyway. 
 
Maybe less 'happy' with the 360 version of TF2, but its still a decent alternative to this.

Shame, I really wanted it.

  Magicka looks pretty sweet so maybe they are focusing their attention on that  game to bring it to market instead of trying to port and market Lead and Gold. Where is your source on them bringing that game to the indy channel as that would seem an odd move considering how much smaller the revenue  is for that channel compared too XBLA.  Since i love me some Diablo style games i'm hoping Magicka turns out to be good.

Too bad. I'm playing it right now on PSN, and LOVING it. It's not as bad as people say.

Tried it on the free steam weekend. It's not a huge loss.

That sucks, I wanted to get the game in the Steam sale a couple of weeks back but every time I tried to enter a game it just booted me back out again.

This game's Free Weekend on Steam was a monumental letdown. Jank I can handle, even love, but I can't really get into something with so many fundamental pieces missing.

That kind of sucks. I was looking forward to being able to play this. Oh well...

I couldn't  care less. This game is a terrible unoptimized piece of crap. To top it off the developers are the biggest jerks ever who have no respect for any of their customers.

This game is shit on the PC and the devs are jerks on the forums. They should re-name their company Fatjerks instead of Fatshark.

Bought it on Steam sales, it's a bit too laggy, barely anyone plays it, and for being multiplayer only there is no persistence.  Got bored of it rather quickly...

It probably would have done really well too...I doubt I'll be playing it on PC even if I get a gaming pc soon

Its a good game, but not worth the money thats for sure. I am not surprised by this at all.

From my understanding of the ease of porting things from the PC to the 360 this does not make a lot of sense. Unless it more related to the capital needed to support such an endeavor on the back end
