    Left 4 Dead

    Left 4 Dead puts players in the role of one of four survivors during a zombie apocalypse. Survivors will depend on co-operation to get from one safe house to another, while facing hordes of "Infected", four of which can be controlled by human players in certain game modes.

    So I don't know how many people know about this, but the guys behind Portal: Prelude are making a custom campaign for Left 4 Dead.

    There's a video on their site showing it off, it looks really well done. Some parts remind me of the level design in Alan Wake. It could be fun, but quite frankly most custom campaigns are kinda bad.

    I'll be honest, from looking at the trailer, only the underground section seems interesting. The rest seems rather bland. It doesn't do much do distinguish part 1 2 and 4 5 from each other. I'll download it and try it out, but currently I remain a skeptic.

    dont be a skeptic it is really well done - if you have played most of the other custom maps you will understand - it has custom sounds and textures, plus it has intense level design - give it a chance!
