Side quest bug? Note: maybe not the one you're thinking.

Okay, so I know the "bug" where side quest vehicles don't appear and it's really the game trying (badly) to tell you to take more rackets. That's not what's happening.

So, I'm doing Nicki's missions and the first two go off without a hitch: drive truck to racket, have character development talk with Nicki, repeat. Cool.

But the last two or three I've done have gone like this: I have too few rackets to support more moonshine deliveries, so I take another. Game instructs me to make delivery and I do so. When I return to a racket location and I step out from the truck, the money tallies up, tells me "Mission Complete" and then gives me the objective "Talk to Nicki" just for a second. Then immediately after, the "Not enough earn, get more rackets" message appears in the top left - this is fine, I'm used to this. However, "Talk to Nicki" is no longer a viable objective and if I fumble my way to her warehouse myself, I cannot have a cutscene hang-out with her. When I take another racket and increase my total earn, it tells me to make another delivery. This sequence has played out at least two full times, possibly three.

So, I guess the real question is, does anyone know if this is a bug, or do you not actually hang with Nicki after EVERY side mission and this is simply the game - again - communicating that to me in a weird way?
