I think it is a cool name. It is designed to have people talking about it and it certainly got people talking about the games name. Free publicity.

I think Sony is just asking for trouble naming a 256 person multiplayer game MAG. If they don't get their servers in order by the time the game is released, I see a name change to LAG on the horizon.

Naming it MAG is fine. But Massive Action Game as a full title is really dumb.

No game should "game" in its title. It is redundant and unnecessary.

Quite possibly the finest name ever given to a game. That or Fat Princess, I cannot decide.

It is a stupid name. Maybe this is what happens when Carnival Games sells so well. People think they should spoon feed us games.

It's a working title bro, chill. They won't call it SOCOM either. This is a new IP. This has nothing to do with the SOCOM theme. SOCOM has always been on close-quarters, tactical combat. This game is to huge to be called SOCOM. It would also cause confusion between the mass market.
