This is my first post, but I wanted to say something. If you insist on getting a tattoo, get it where you can hide it if necessary (like the bicep or shoulder). Potential employers may frown upon tattoos, especially if they're readily noticeable. It's also good to have them be hidden for occasions like weddings, funerals, and other things. Just my personal opinion, though.
Mass Effect 2
Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 26, 2010
After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
ME2 Cerberus Tattoo - [where] should I get it?
D.
I got N7 on my right arm.
Where it's easy to hide but also easy enough to show if I feel like it.

Get it where ever you want it, asking us is really not the right way to do it. Just because the poll might say something doesn't mean that you have the same feeling about it. So take the time to decide your self. I have several tattoos my self, and i know asking people about what they thing is bullshit cause you kind of already have an idea in your head, you just need someone to validate it.
So just get it where you think its best. Personally my tattoos aren't hidden, and i have had no issues with that. And i have worked in preschools and right now i work in the elder care field. And no one gives a shit about your tattoos as long as your a decent human being. well maybe if your going into some corporate word, it might be good to make it so it can be hidden with clothes, some peoples mindsets are still in the year 1800.
Also you need to be sure that your man enough to wear it, meaning in 10-20 years when Cerberus doesn't mean the same to you as it does now, you will still wear it and feel good about the memories it holds.
" @Mrskidders said:Get it wherever, it's your tattoo to regret."@smcn: Go on then, ill listen, what does it mean to you?"It would be foolish to respond when you obviously have hostile intentions. People find meaning in film, literature, music, fairy tales about invisible sky wizards, why not a video game? "
Are you his mother or something?" @smcn: Go on then, ill listen, what does it mean to you? If its important to you then I applaud you for having the conviction to put it on yor body for the long term. "
Enjoy it, just make sure the tattoo parlor has clean needles, good coffee and a receptionist with a low cut top on to stare down whilst you get it and you will be fine.
Certainly not. My mom has this on her arm: http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z61/kevindoom/cold_spider.jpg" @Mrskidders said:

Bonus: In the middle of it is (supposedly) the kanji for "cold", but it's in red and she hasn't had it touched up in years so you can barely see it.
" Put it where you already want it to go. You don't need to ask us to close the deal, do what you want. "I intended to from the beginning. I thought this thread might spark some discussion about tattoos people have or want to get -- I didn't realize the GB community were a bunch of squares. (JOKES)
" @TaliciaDragonsong said:Just a black N7. The red would have looked silly without a background, and I dislike the thought of having a sticker on my arm (meaning it looks like a rectangle, not just the letters)." D. I got N7 on my right arm. "Nowhere. Get something that actually means something significant to you."
People get things like playing cards, footballs, baseball, or even movies etc tattooed on themselves. What's wrong with getting something connected to gaming? Especially for a series like Mass Effect which is significant to many people.
Personally, if I was going to get one, I would go for something a little more classic, like Zelda.. but it's pretty likely ME will be rembered just as fondly anyway.
" @Mrskidders said:I think his point is something that has meaning to you not just now, but will continue to hold meaning for you in 20 years when the ink is still on your body. I'm not an anti-tattoo person. I have one and want at least one more, but I agree with @Mrskidders:"@smcn: Go on then, ill listen, what does it mean to you?"It would be foolish to respond when you obviously have hostile intentions. Tattoos are fucking awesome.
Fuck everyone else.
Shoulderblade would be cool but then you wouldn't be able to get anything on your back without it being silly.
So maybe upper arm. Or maybe the inside of your upper arm.
Or rib cage.
All easy to hide too.
I don't find anything wrong with video game tattoos, but make sure you put it on a spot that can be hidden, mainly for work purposes.
I assume OP has already considered the ramifications of getting a tattoo and may already have several, so no one here really needs to lecture him one way or another.
Why does every tattoo need a story? People can do whatever they want to their bodies, and the Mass Effect symbols are all graphically appealing because they had amazing designers make them. I noticed yesterday in another thread that a lot of people on GB are anti tattoo and it's kind of a bummer. Tattoos are awesome and oh em gee, they're optional. There's no reason to try and belittle someone else for doing something they like. Not wanting one is fine, being a dick about it is not.
Personally, I like inner forearm tattoos over bicep tattoos. Are you doing all black?
As someone with a video-game tattoo, I say get it. It's kind of a cool design and you're obviously intent on getting it. I wouldn't know where though, because it isn't one I would get.
that logo is okay but you should wait a little to see what the EA effect will do to the Mass Effect franchise,, you know , just in case ...
You never know what the next "Jar Jar Binks" will be ,, LOL
