Subject: Tier 1 Advanced Preview: Watch "Leave a Message" first 
 Logging into the EA site it claims that it's an Exclusive trailer, blah blah blah.
Anyone else gotten something like this?

Just watched the trailer (titled "Leave a Message"). To summarize it's a video showing military helicopters flying near mountainous terrain while someone (I'm assuming it's the character you play as) is leaving a voicemail for his family back 'home'. Shots soldiers looking pensive, discussions of soccer practice and clearing gutters, not being in harms way and et cetera.
Trailer ends with the troops being deployed but suddenly come under attack from off screen.

Love Chinooks. These are much better character models than what we've seen before, no? Shame multiplayer worries me (different engine and developer).

Hmm...while I'm a little burnt out on modern shooters lately I have to say that was an impressive trailer. I would love to see an emotionally driven story to go along with the used up setting.

this is a reallly good trailer i also just got done watching it, im thinking medal of honor might be back! i havent played a moh game sense pacific assult. im actually looking more forward to this than the new COD game.

A contemporary shooter that focuses on an emotional story, not a series of explosions? Sweet.

What the hell is happening? Are developers / publishers finally figuring out how to make decent trailers? Or are they just learning that they'll never figure it out, and outsourcing the trailers more and more? Either way, this was a good'un.

I think I'm seeing things but was i the only person who thought that 5 or 6 six dudes in the helicopter looked the same o_O...

I hope there's some crazy '01 US Special Forces riding-around-on-horses-airstriking-the-shit-out-of-everything going on.  That was fucking badass.  If there isn't a Mazar-i-Sharif level then this game has failed as far as I'm concerned.

Good trailer. I wish they'd show actual gameplay though.

I seem to be the only one so far that caught the "Hey, you've reached the Pattersons!" at the beginning. Jimmy Patterson was the main character in Medal Of Honor: Frontline and I think some other games. You probably are playing as a member of that family. 
 
Also, the song at the end gave me goosebumps. Really excited for this.

i was thinking about being a ranger. but i'm opting for combat controller instead. im fucking crazy i know.

Ah.. a nice trailer, I love the slow paced and emotion it had. I hope the story will be just as moving and cinematic, with a more down to earth and "human" plot-line. 
 
Although it sounds like you will be jumping between characters a bit, which is a bit of a disappointment, as I hated that aspect of mw2.

The Pattersons live next door to the Price family?
