    Amazed...

Amazed by how perfect this game is. I simply can't find any flaws with it. No bugs. No glitches. No dumb AI. Just all round perfect...

    Presentation
This game is nothing short of stunning when it comes to graphics. Animation is done beautifully. The characters in the game look like proper living and breathing people. They blink. Twitch. Just like real people. This game has such attention to detail when it comes to graphics, it's phenomenal. The game seems to focus more on graphics of actual objects, so it isn't a scenic look, you're more likely to be amazed by the things nearer you than further away. Unfortunately,  due to disk space, the game doesn't support full HD 1080p, only standard 576i and 720p. It's still however, one of the best looking games to date, and totally pushes the PlayStation 3 to the limit. Sounds are always very clear and the voice acting is great. Guns sound awesome and explosions sound devastating. All cut-scenes are made using the game's engine and seamlessly go between the two without loading or anything.

    Gameplay
The stealth mechanics of the previous Metal Gear Solid games have been perfected with new controls and improved CQC techniques. A new third person over the shoulder view, a lot like that of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has been added. You can also switch to first person view while aiming to get high precision shots. The camera is now similar to that of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance's, where you use the right stick to move it. Stealth is a major part of the gameplay, but if you wish, you will be able to play the game as a shooter.

    Story
So, this is rumoured to be Solid Snake's last stand, and hell is it done well. The story is gripping and although it may seen confusing to those who haven't played the game before, it is possible to understand. Most references to previous games will be explained, so you don't need to worry about not having played the previous games, but it is recommended to have played them.

    Overall
This game is a must buy, and even if you are not a fan of the previous games, it is worth checking out. I know quite a few people who have bought this game without playing any of the previous games and have loved it. For all you Xbox 360 and Wii owners, if you haven't already, buy a PlayStation 3 just for this game. It's worth it.

Metal Gear solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is without a doubt the ultimate Metal Gear experience for any fan of the series and an absolute must have for any PS3 owners looking for a good game and a reason to justify their purchase of a PS3. It pretty much answers every question you had on its previous entries. Metal Gear solid 4 has been completely re hauled in the gameplay department. It plays very different from it's predecessors. Although at the same time it's more accessible to western audie...

MGS4 blurs the line between cinematography and gameplay. 0

Metal Gear Solid has always been praised (and sometimes bashed) by it's long cutscenes, movie-style cinematography and mind bending plot twists. Metal Gear Solid 4 continues this trend by not only reaching this goal, but by blasting it into hyper-space. But what hasn't been done well in a Metal Gear Solid game is a perfect control system, an in-depth and varied gameplay and intense action, to which Metal Gear Solid 4 not only improves upon these elements, but perfects them.Snake's final chapter ...
