Bug Catcher is a Pokémon trainer that is always depicted holding a bug net. They often use weak bug Pokémon such as Caterpie and Kakuna, but also come in a variant called Bug Maniac in which they hold strong bug Pokémon like Heracross or Butterfree.
Pokemon that were mostly based on insects.
Butterfree is a Bug/Flying type Pokémon that evolves from Metapod.
Cascoon is a bug pokemon from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Using a cocoon of fine silk, Cascoon protects itself against attack, just waiting for the day it can evolve into something better
Caterpie is a bug type Pokémon found in the original Pokémon Red/Blue. Caterpie uses its string shot to protect itself until it can safely spin a cocoon to turn into Metapod.
Evolution marks the progression from one stage to the next.
Giant Insects are insects and other 'bugs' that are far larger than in the real world. Some are about half the size of a human, others are bigger than buildings. Larger than life or gigantic insects are a common element in many video games, especially those of the RPG Genre.
When players are encouraged to collect all of a large number of characters, creatures or items in a game. Progress is often represented by some sort of bestiary or compendium that is filled out with new entries.
Kakuna is a Bug/Poison type Pokémon that evolves from Weedle and eventually into Beedrill. They are usually found in low-level areas such as the Viridian Forest of Pokemon Blue/Red.
This feature typically found in RPGs lets you capture enemies and then use them in your own party. This mechanic is used heavily in games like Pokemon.
Pokémon are creatures that inhabit the Pokémon universe and can be captured and trained for battle.
This is how to fight other Pokémon throughout the many different regions in all Pokémon games.
Cocoon Pokemon of the third generation which evolves from Wurmple.
