    Misery is one of the antagonists of Cave Story. She is Jenka's daugher, and she'll follow whoever wears the Demon Crown, where the actual holder is The Doctor.

    Her curse will only be lifted if Ballos is slain. If this actually happens, she's reformed in the end and sends Balrog to save you.
