I am getting so damn tired of hearing people talk trash about minorities.  This game seems to be over run with racists, way more then any other game. Halo never seemed to have this much. Its practically ever game I am hearing NI...ER

You can't expect Microsoft to moderate their community. I mean, if a user goes out and suggests he or she might be a homosexual, that's different, but racism? What can you do?

Console or PC? I believe a large majority of players on Xbox live tend to have a microphone since it's somewhat part of the Xbox360 package. PC users just don't have one or are on Ventrilo, Teamspeak etc...

Play Mercenary TDM. Almost nobody uses a mic since there's no parties.

Depends where you're playing. I got it for PS3 because i'd rather hear aggressive college age people swearing then little kids with high voices swearing. to each his own.

The mute button is there for a reason. This is XBL you are referring to...yes it happens everywhere, but you should know by now how bad it is on XBL and just expect this. Nothing new here at all.

 When the game is as popular as it is, you kind of have to expect this kind of shit. I echo the sentiments of play Mercenary TDM. There are far fewer mic users, not to mention far fewer cheap/annoying tactics.

Part of the thing is that I hear black people call such racists "faggots" which is hilariously ironic bigotry. I then stop caring until I hear a one sided slurring.

I do have to admit I'm racist against stupid people. That's why I don't wear a mic.

I pretty play exclusively play Mercenary TDM.  Not many childish teenagers, grenade spammers, witch builds, Dual 1887s or any of the nonsense. "

it's every game that has this. it is more on xbox 360 since a lot of people have a mic to talk.

As I have said before, I think it's hilarious that a game called "modern warfare" has players of different nationalities swearing at one another over the internet.

I will never understand why people are unable to use the mute functionality that is built into the game.
