I don't know, I kind of like both of them, and they are free. Better than the boring Kitana and Jade ones at least.

These are aggressively unnecessary costumes, just like the last ones.. Not only is the MK3 Sub-Zero wrong (not that getting it right would make it any more palatable to me) but his face looks really weird and cartoonish compared to the rest of the casts. And Klassic Cyber Sub-Zero isn't a real thing.

Oh, Goddamnit. I only tried out Freddy and the Cyber Sub costume. Didn't even think about the unmasked Sub.

I like everything so far. Actually somewhat surprised at how much I enjoy using Krueger. Maybe my favorite DLC character. Pretty straightforward.

I'm a bit confused about this too. On PS3 there differently are a forced update and after installing this I have unmasked Sub Zero - But still there are online matches I can't pick Skarlet. It seem ill-adviced if this forced update only forces compatibility with Freddy on everybody's system.

Oh goddamnit, why aren't all the compatibility packs mandatory then?! I have to fight Freddy, who I didn't buy, but I sometimes can't use the DLC characters that I did? That conspiracy theory that someone posted about how this was a plot to dive up Freddy's sales numbers and validate more guest characters seems marginally less insane now. 

I was under the impression that the mandatory update was going to be applied to all of them, so it's just for the Freddy pack? that seems lame lol

From some people at TYM and TRMK have said, that this update was patch to fix some problems with online on the PS3 and they just bundled the Update with it. (The patch being 111 MB instead of the 64 MB the other compat. packs were.)

Man, MK3 Sub-Zero is really... ugly. What the hell is up with his face? It just seems off, but I can't pin-point what exactly about it is off. Between the face and the inaccurate costume, I really wish they'd just thrown a mask on him and had him be UMK3's Classic Sub-Zero.

Has anybody else having connection and lag issues since the patch? I was having no issues before it but now things are unplayable. 

I fully updated patches and bought the season pass a few days ago. Played around 15 games in a row online with no problems. Much better now, hopefully it will stay that way.
