My personal favourite one is guitar hero 3s. Although that was when the series went a bit down hill in a lot of peoples opinions I loved the guitar that you could get with it. You?
EDIT:Damn, I forgot the question mark. Oh well
Musical Peripheral
Concept »
Meant to make musical games more accessible as well as permit everyone to let loose their inner musician, these peripherals can look very much or not at all like the instruments they emulate.
Favourite plastic toy guitar thing with the little bar you flick
I like the gh:wt guitar best because of the strum bar extending out more than the old gh ones and I dislike the lack of clickiness in the strum bar of the rock band guitars.
Last gen I bought this Wireless PS2 guitar made by Red Octane. It's going to get my vote here. It's a cool white guitar. The other guitars I've had include the red Guitar Hero 2 guitar for PS2, and a Rock Band 2 guitar for 360. Both of those other guitars have had problems with the whammy bar. On the GH2 guitar, the whammy bar lost it's spring so it doesn't bounce back and you have to grab it to move it in and out. For my Rock Band 2 guitar, the whammy bar has gotten weak and will no longer stand straight up, instead it slowly turns until it's pointing downwards, which can be costly when you're playing. You'll reach for the whammy bar and it won't be where you want it.
I liked my Les Paul, but the star power activation is pretty touchy these days, and I keep dropping holds whenever I tilt because of the stupid detachable neck. I've been waiting to get a RB2 one, but they still cost too much. Maybe I'll just get the GH:WT one on the cheap and see if I like it.
Those fucking Guitar Hero controllers....
The frets are so stiff I can barely get a good succession of notes down. Personally I like the Rock Band 2 Guitar. The buttons are nice and easy to push down and the strum bar thing feels awesome.
" @RHCPfan24 said:You don't need the click when you got the groove, man." Haha, good title you got there. My favorite is definitely the Rock Band 2 one. It is comfortable to use, has a cool design and has that amazing auto-calibration feature. It makes me look down on all other games that don't have it post-RB2. "But click "
easily the Rock Band guitars. (to be exact, the Rock Band 2 guitar). everything just feels right, I have found out however that there is no perfect guitar controller.
