I'm with this guy. Mustard is highly overrated, overpowers the other tastes in whatever you're eating.

Same here, I guess.

Here's the secret: use less.
It's delicious on a hotdog or something.
Spicy brown or bust
What he said!
I prefer just regular old yellow mustard. It goes well with anything you'd want mustard on.
Though i will admit spicy mustard can be good in proper scenarios. Sometimes its good, sometimes its not. It's risky, it might pay off, or you might regret it.
Sweet/honey mustard? Ugh, i hate that shit. It's SO strong, it overwhelms the entire food its on. A topping is supposed to augment or enhance the taste of the dish not overwhelm it!
I cannot for the life of me remember what dijon mustard tastes like even though i'm certain ive had it before on multiple occasions.
Anyways, regular old yellow mustard for me, cus im boring i guess.

I don't eat it on hot dogs or burgers or anything. But I like it in my potato salad and used as an ingredient in cooking. But not as a condiment. Its required to be in potato salad, or its not a good potato salad.
This is also acceptable. I've had food that has mustard as an ingredient, properly mixed in with a bunch of other stuff, and that's fine. But anyone in this thread who puts mustard on like, a hot dog or a burger or a sandwich? You're monsters, all of you.
Same stance on pickles. Probably an acceptable food as a minor ingredient in cooking. But once you put several slices of pickle on a burger, you might as well just be eating a handful of pickles stuck in between two halves of a hamburger bun, you animal.
I love pretty much all mustards. My favorite is Deli or Dijon Mustard and my least favorite is Yellow Mustard.
I like mustard because I dont have the palate of a child.
I chose Spicy Brown but I like any mustard that isnt Dijonnaise.
I hate mustard, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it the devil. I'm okay-ish with wiping mustard off a hamburger bun and eating it should somebody fuck up my no mustard request.
Mayonaise on the other hand, that's the devil incarnate. Anything mayo has touched goes straight to the garbage, there is a special place in hell for people who fuck up when I ask for no mayonnaise...

Only if you use too much mustard. Most people think that they can use as much mustard as they would ketchup, that is bad thinking.
@bisonhero: you be using too much mustard. hotdog mustard tomato ketchup= Oh boy.
English mustard, motherfuckers!
I hate mustard.
But as someone who is pro devil, I resent the anti-mustard one being "mustard is the devil." That's insulting to the devil.
I live in the home of Colman's mustard. There is a shop dedicated to it. They sell mustard chocolate for people who are insane/christmas stocking fillers.
I love mustard. Grainy dijon mustard on a ham sandwich! yellow mustard on hot dogs! Horseradish sauce (yeah I know not really mustard, but similar flavour) on roast beef! Mustard powder in marinades for slow cooked meats! English mustard with strong cheeses!
I love Mustard!!!
English mustard, motherfuckers!
English mustard or no mustard. Kinda bummed it isn't on the poll. I mean... it IS a yellow mustard, but I feel the yellow mustard on the poll is probably referring to that squirty mild stuff Americans put on hotdogs.
A honey and mustard mix can be quite good for glazing something like a joint of Gammon.
Dijon mustard is disgusting. Keep your horribly wine blended mustard away from me!
Edit: The last option in the poll just made me think of this
I like all mustard. Even the kind of disgusting mustard they give you at a Chinese restaurant that tastes like you're putting chemicals on your egg roll. I like it a lot.

Honey mustard
^ This. In Wisconsin we have "the National Mustard Museum." Yup, the owner is very strange and a mustard hoarder.
Mustard isn't the devil but it's fucking disgusting.
Depends on what you're eating and what toppings you've got on it. I mean Honey Mustard wouldn't go well with a horseradish/relish hot dog! A good spicy mustard would be just the ticket with that combination. I also wouldn't use spicy mustard for honey-baked ham! That'd just be madness. Soooooo all of them?
