    Originally partnered with Odin, Myau was separated from his friend when Odin was turned to stone.

    Myau returns with Alis to free Odin using the Asline medicine that hangs from Myau's neck.

    Myau becomes an invaluable member of the team when later it evolves into a winged adult, and is able to fly Alis and her friends up to King Lassic's flying fortress.

    There is some evidence that Myau makes an appearance in Phantasy Star 4 as the Musk Cat known as "Old Man". Only the fact that Old Man is a Musk Cat and possesses Myau's ultimate weapon from Phantasy Star support this claim.
