Quite possibly the first really good reason to get a 3DS, even though this is, again, a port.
Some of these games might really profit from the 3D effect. Most importantly Bit.Trip Runner.

Patrick, you really seem to love the DS, it's a platform that doesn't get a whole lot of talk on GB but there are a lot of great games for it. Also Bit Trip on something other than WiiWare is a great plan :P

Seems neat. I was always only sort of interested in trying them out, so putting them all together certainly helps.

I've been waiting for them all in one package! Although in 3D it might make my eyes melt.

Coincidentally, the founder of Gaijin Games, Alex Neuse, was a guest critic for my game design class today, giving us some advice for our senior projects. He seemed like a cool dude. He also used "choice" as an adjective a lot.

Fantastic games, great idea for a retail package. Hoping for some extra features aside from the 3D, will probably rebuy anyway just to support them.

Yet another example of a games "journalist" acting elitist and slagging off the Wii. I'm really getting sick of this unprofessional shit.

This is a fantastic series. A shame I've never been able to complete any of them besides Runner.

I think the 3D might actually add to this game.

I've only played Bit.Trip Beat, but pulling the game elements to their own plane and pushing the FX back should make it easier to focus on the game.

The 3d will be a nifty factor, however since I'm not planning on getting a 3DS anytime soon.. I'll just have to hope that these games will show up on XBL sometime in the future. :)

Huh?  He said he plays all the games (there six of them) and encourages you to do so as well.  How is that discouraging?  JC Fletcher at Joystiq is the only other games journalist I've heard that has admitted to have played them, let alone loved them.
