Quick question for those who got to actually see the 3DS: is the 3D created by images leaping from the screen, from supposed depth within in the screen (similar to what headtracking can produce), or a mixture of the two? Of the write ups I've seen, I haven't really seen this addressed.

Mixture of the two, with a focus on behind-the-screen.

According to the Tested guys it is both, in Mario Kart for example the only thing popping out of the screen is the sparks while drifting and stuff like that while the rest goes into the screen to give it more depth.
