    I don't understand why everyone is going batshit insane over this game. What are they promising that's worth all this attention? Yea, it's an ambitious game made by 4 dudes that brought you a motocycle race/trick game, I'll acknowledge that. But what game are you guys even looking at?

    Is it the promise of exploration? Because Skyrim and a million other games have already done that.

    Is it the promise of discovery? Because Souls games and Minecraft and their clones already does that.

    Is it the promise of a space sim? We already have EVE Online and Star Citizen (if it ever comes out).

    What are they seeing in No Man's Sky? Because all I'm seeing are trailers that involve walking over alien vegetation and flying from atmosphere into space in less than 20 seconds (which is unrealistic, by the way).

    The part where it's infinite and kinda mincraft but 60s Scifi certainly sets it appart. Procedural generation hasn't been atempted on something aproaching that scale ever.
