Hi, I'm building a pc over the summer. I think I've assembled all the components I'll need (using an small hdtv as my monitor so I need a gpu with hdmi compatibility that's not just an adapter on a dvi), so can you rate and offer advice?

According to your motherboard, you might be better off getting either this or this set of memory. It's faster and cheaper, too.
Aside from that, it looks pretty good. Good luck!

    ^ Yeah looks good.

All I can add is, avoid static electricity.  Just a friendly reminder.  ^ ^  One you can never hear to many times.

I agree with AnimZero's advice. Also, I've never been a big fan of spending that much on the case, but it's your money.

That card you picked doesn't have any HDMI outputs only DVI. You can buy a DVI-to-HDMI converter for the video, but you'll have to pull in the audio separately.

Here's a card in roughly the same price range that could do that though.

Don't buy the WD 320 gb Caviars some are good single platters but some are horribly performing 2x160gb platters it is random which one you get.  The 640Gb is a much safe bet or samsung spinpoint 1 Tb are both great performers and a better bet.

I'd go with a WD Black for the OS Drive; size is up to you.
Also not a fan of cases with doors on them, just annoying in my opinion; i'd go with Antec 900 or Antec 1200 instead.
Same motherboard as me and I have the OCZ GameXStream 700w and love it.

To my knowledge there is no way to get video and sound from an HDMI out from a video card. You will need to go with an optical cable as the sound card and graphics card are not in anyway related

I forgot to mention that the p180 is both an elegant and excellent case, do not be fooled into buying something inferior.
