After burning myself out on Persona 3+4, I want a good old PC RPG.
I can't think of anything I'm looking for, but something like:
I like Diablo 2's CRAZY loot system...and all of D2 basically.
Not a DND rules game. Which throws NWN out of the window. I don't want to make a Wizard and get a magic missile a day.
Not Titan Quest. Was like Diablo 2 but not as good.
Might and Magic 6+7 were fond memories aswell.
If anyone can help me out, please do!

PC Rpg's-Point me in the right direction.
If you want a game like Diablo, then just play Diablo. All games that are like it will just dissapoint.
Anything on the Infinity Engine.
I highly recommend playing Morrowind, Planescape: Torment, and Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura.
These are games that everyone should play.
" fallout. "I agree, just started playing Fallout 3 and there is just so much stuff to do in that wasteland that I can see myself playing it long ways down the road...
Actually looking for an old one aswell-
It was like, a third person perspective, and there was 4/5 characters. Some were casters, and you attacked with left click, and did a special with right. Casters fired fireballs, or spirit eagles or something, and the melee was the same but with sword and board. All I can really remember is that, and on one level, you get an ice sword with a melee char, and then a fire sword on the last level, and I think the bonus level dropped you in a weird maze where you just gotta survive for 10 minutes or so.
Fallout 1 + 2, and I know you said no D&D [you crazy bastard] but Planescape Torment is probably the best RPG ever made, all hail Black Isle!
The Witcher is a solid choice.
Also, if you haven't played on a console yet, fallout 3. I think the PC version is best (despite the bugs) because there is a large modding community out there which can make the game quite a bit cooler.
Also Morrowind and Oblivion are very good games. I would suggest Morrowind before Oblivion though. I think the story in Morrowind is much better.
I'd recommend STALKER even though it doesn't fall into the typical fantasy archetype (nor does it really have an attribute system, although the artifacts are similar). Only downside is the bugs.
" The Witcher, definitely.Don't play Planescape: Torment; it is horrible. "I second The Witcher.
Planescape has a great story and writing but its combat is absolutely horrible and the exact opposite of what the OP said he likes. I'd second the Fallouts, The Witcher and the Elder Scrolls games. As someone said any Diablo-a-likes would just be a dissapointment since none of them are as good as Diablo at all.
Give titan quest a go. I think it's the first Diablo "clone" that actually stands really well on it's own legs.
"Anything on the Infinity Engine.

I agree with this fella. Good suggestions so far. These aren't loot crazy, but try out Vampires - The Masquerade: Bloodlines, The Witcher, Gothic 2 Gold, and the Wizardry games, if you can find them for a relatively cheap price. Wizardry 8 in particular is a gem, especially if you liked Might and Magic.
And seriously, I loved Titan Quest. I wish its developers and publishers could have supported it more, but as it stands, it was a fun game that I still play a hell of a lot.
