I remember I'd go nuts when my dad would bring his notebook home from work, back in the windows 3 days (I was 10ish). I'd sit there for a while trying to remember how to use PKzip to get the split install files off the floppies - I procured from somewhere. And when I finally got everything working... much, much Sid Meier's Civilization ensued :D

Half-life 1, Diablo 2, Age of empires 2, Duke Nukem 3d. All around the same time many many years ago!

I think the first game I played on the PC was Commander Keen.
But I really got into it from Duke Nukem 3D onwards.

I can't remember which one was the very first one but there are many golden gems I remember clearly from my youth... Lemmings, Commander Keen, Doom, One Must Fall 2097, Command & Conquer, Heroes Of Might And Magic, Warcraft, etc. :D

The Sims (I didn't like it).

Doom. Thing gave me nightmares but I couldn't stop playing it.

Diablo which then got me into D2 and Lod, then Halflife which made me spend a lot of time in Counter Strike.

Grand Theft Auto 2. The game that got me out of it was Hitman: Blood Money.

Rainbow 6 3: Raven Shield.
The pistol servers, were some of the most fun I've ever had gaming ever.

Call of Duty 2.

It was my first real computer game and I loved it. The second I beat it, I tried the online multiplayer and I was amazed that I was playing with other real people (it was also my first online game). I played it every day for close to a year.

Age of Mythology still like that genre of RTS to this day.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Hella old school point-and-click adventure game. That and Commander Keen were the two games I played from around 1990-1992.

Thats thinking preaty far back....um....probably  Rainbow Six Rouge Spear.

I actually can't remember... I tend to fade in and out with using my PC. There's usually something to bring me back to it though.

i think it was either half life or C&C2:RA. i'd played diablo before id played either of them on the PS1 but didnt get it for Pc til i got D2

most likely it had to be Diablo for me.

I have never really been a PC gamer, and thus there really hasn't been a game that got me into PC gaming. I do play Half-Life every once and a while on my laptop. That has to be my favorite PC game.

Civilization IV.

Sid Meier's Pirates

Roller Coaster Tycoon...then games started going 3D and my PC couldn't handle them.  But, few years back I finally got  a gaming-able PC and returned to the greatness it is.

Well i startet my gaming basically in the C64 days and on different school computers. But the first PC game that got my attention was Dungeon Keeper. And when i got my own PC it was Battlefield 1942. What games they were!

Wolfenstien 3D and Wing Commander
