Depends on how you interpret that letter. Personally, I think it's his last ditch attempt at getting you all killed. Good behavior or not, bizarre multiple murder in Japan gets you hanged unless you can convince the judge that you're really, really sorry, and while technically the only thing that's securing a conviction is himself, I'm pretty sure he still hates you. It's the phrasing and elipses in the letter that I find suspicious, like if eight bodies turned up, he'd be able to say it wasn't actually him, and since the letter doesn't name the person who started it, there's no trail to follow. Couldn't be good old Adachi, he was in prison...

That he's cooperating at all probably has less to do with you beating him up and more with letting Dojima keep his job. As his direct superior, Dojima's suspended for a month at the very least.

@Dybia: The Accomplice Ending is only if you max Pierrot. If you max Lust, you don't betray your friends, and you can still get the True Ending (in fact, the letter is the item you get for maxing the link).

Maybe, but if you're not in the know, there's no way that Adachi could have killed them while locked up. Suspicious or not, there's nothing in that letter that police could helpfully follow up on. If they ask what the Midnight Channel has to do with anything, then... what? As for being able to touch TVs, the epilogue says that Namatame can't go in anymore; I doubt that Adachi is any different, and if they can't demonstrate that, well.

That's more real life consequence than anything else. In fictional Japan, I have no idea what the repercussions would be, if any. I'm just doubtful that he's behaving for your sake.

Margaret informs you of Mari’s disappearance after you defeat Ameno-sagiri. During the winter ski trip event, it is possible to access the world Mari had trapped herself into. It is then revealed that Mari is actually Kusumi-no-ookami, and if Ameno-sagiri’s purpose was to cloud the world with fog, it was Kusumi-no-ookami’s role to absorb the fog, and to die after. She tries to push the main character and his friends away because of this, trapped in a dilemna between self-sacrifice, or to lose all they have worked for by returning to the real world. The party eventually defeats Kusumi-no-ookami while Mari seals away her consciousness, thus protecting her self and could then return to the real world. However, after the battle with Izanami, Mari appears to fade away and leaves you with her real name: Izanami-no-mikoto.

It's implied heavy that he was transferred to Inaba as punishment for some kind of past actions. It wouldn't shock me at ALL if the department tried to get rid of his psycho ass after some serious on-the-job misconduct and to dodge scandal. To say that the guy's got some serious issues with women and people he deems lesser than himself is the understatement of the century.

I would say that in the case of Adachi, he probably simply screwed the pooch on a case. Could be that he accidentally shot someone he wasn't supposed to (Busted down a door and simply shot the first guy he saw). Could be that he pissed off his superior. Hell, could be that he tried to get in good with the Yakuza. Whatever it is, it's probably not important enough to know, but somehow I don't think it's nearly as bad as the shit he tried to pull off with Saki and Mayumi (hell, I don't think he'd be able to even keep his job if he actually did commit rape).

Thinking about Adachi in prison, can't help but think that he's spending his entire time in prison pumpin' iron and is now ridiculously buff.

Dojima: "Hey, Adachi. I brought some cabagge-Oh god! Erm... So things are working out for you OK, I guess?"

Also, Epilogue Kanji kinda looks like he's wearing a toupee. Also, he looks like he's gonna come to my door and ask if I've embraced God.

Not sure I'm a fan of Marie so far. Her Social Link just kind of seems like Elizabeth's from 3, but kind of pissy/angsty in weird ways, instead of somewhat cutesy and curious about all this weird shit she's never seen ala Elizabeth. Only at level 4, so maybe it gets better, otherwise yousuckihateyoucheapskate is really getting a tad silly. I do like that she seems to be maybe questioning some of what the fuck she is or what's going on in the Velvet Room, so if that pushes some more to get some ideas about it, I'm for that, at least.

Also, am I crazy, or is this Adachi social link making it much more obvious/easier to figure out he's the killer? It was a real mindfuck late-game for him to suddenly be screaming about "all these bitches", and here in the first few levels of his social link he's already griping about past girlfriends and their "attitudes", and how he only wants a woman for her cooking. That and all the "Adachi smiles mischievously" every time you start a social link event with him seems pretty suggestive. Maybe it's only obvious if you know he's the killer? I dunno, just really trippy so far.

You'll need to do some side research on the origin of that Persona and it closely relates to the hollow forest.

Considering she doesn't have a persona, I thought they'd just put that there in its stead, which made sense to me at the time.

Still, it's weird how the end credits imply it's her Persona. I mean, they didn't really have to make a transition to a Persona from Marie, right?

...Marie can use ziodyne in the real world without summoning a persona, and this is your problem? Maybe she'll be a dlc character down the line for Arena since nothing in Golden contradicts it being possible.
