Persona 5?

• On July 6, 2013, it was discovered that an official Persona 5 domain website was possibly registered on June 25, 2013.
• Atlus put up a Persona related teaser website on September 26 hinting at an upcoming reveal.
• The teaser website's hinted time: Sunday, November 24 at 8:00 PM Japan time, which is November 24 at 6:00 AM EST.
• On November 12, 2013, it was discovered that the Persona 5 domain website no longer indicated this image relating to its domain hosting and that it results in a "403 Forbidden" message. Indicated by the one who discovered this, the whois data for the website indicated that it was last updated on November 12, 2013.
• Discovered today, the p-ch teaser website and the persona5.jp website now share the exact same IP address (1.33.188.62).
• p-ch.jp website updated on November 19, 2013. Clickable boxes now show Teddie.
• Another update for the p-ch.jp on November 19, 2013. A link on the middle of the website links to a Nico Nico live stream channel.

Persona 4 Arena 2

• Persona 4 Arena 2 network tests were apparently being run on November 13, meaning they're gearing up for the arcade launch later this year.

Persona Magazine Revival

• The Persona magazine that had 11 issues from 2011 to 2012 is being revived with its new issue "#Re:birth" due on December 5th.

Persona Related? (Update: Nope, Conception II)

• Weird Atlus USA website that could be anything that first appeared in an Atlus Faithful email about AquaPazza on November 14, 2013.
• Note "Persist 5" and Gold 4 as well as the order of the numbers in the column on the left going (2 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5)

Just a heads up for fans of the series. Seems like things relating to Persona are getting interesting.

there's so much amazing japanese games stuff going on this month, but this is definitely what I'm the most excited for. I know it's gonna be P5. It's just gotta be, right!? Super psyched for the announcement.

I don't care aboot Arena 2 (even though Arena 1 had a good Labrys story, the first person presentation and fighting was terrible), so am excited aboot Persona 5.

They can wait as long as they want to. Again, Persona 4 was announced and released for the PS2 two years after the PS3 was released.

I'm ready for P5 to be announced for handhelds and me to be disappointed. I hope this is not the case.

Well, that's not happening since it's been established that all Persona games take place in the same world and it would be pointless to change that at this point. That doesn't mean that it won't have its own story separate from the other games, just like every single main game has had (P1 to P2 is fairly more connected than P3 to P4, but P2 still had its own story mainly separate from the events of P1).

Well before P4A they were barely connected (from what I know anyways). I just don't want P5 to be some crazy mashup of existing characters. New setting, new characters, maybe a nod or two to the other games.

But P4A's a fanservice, competitive fighting game. I wouldn't be too worried about the fifth game in the main series following the precedent set by its four predecessors. Minor cameos like P3 to P4 would be what I would expect. The maximum I would expect would be one playable character from a previous game like P1 to P2, but I'd really doubt that.

P4A's existence really shouldn't be considered when it comes to the development of the RPG series, I think. It's its own thing now; potentially ASW's third pillar next to Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

My heart can't take any more hype, I just need to forget about this until the ball drops. Though my secret hope of them dropping the high school location in exchange for a police academy setting with the only returning characters being Chie and Akihiko is still buried deep within me.
