I just hope if Nanako (or any previously established character, for that matter) is the MC, they aren't muted like with Maya in Eternal Punishment. That was a major buzzkill when I realized she couldn't speak during the sequel.

Will be pretty funny if Nanako ran into Aegis during the story. Seeing that could be the next "Nolan North talking to Nolan North" moment in that game.

Speaking of which, I wonder if Adachi will be in this new game.

As somebody who's rather fond of Persona 4 (understatement) and somebody who's rather talented at not giving a shit (also an understatement), I not really too anxious about what direction they take it. If they continue Persona 4 and/or 3 and absolutely ruin everything, I'm sure it'll rub me the wrong way, but I dunno. I'm not as invested as others. I do sympathize for those who're really into the Persona franchise as a whole, however, as I understand the consensus among those who are is to move on with the series, but there's concern about them getting caught up with spinning-off.

Personally, I don't think I can get enough of the Persona 4 characters, and, so long as they stay true to what makes me love them so much, I'd accept any and all spin-offs. I mean, I'm terrible at fighting games and never play 'em, but my only complaint about Arena is that it had too much emphasis on the characters from 3 for my taste.

Shuhei Yoshida is drawing attention to the teaser site on Twitter, so I think this is final confirmation (as if we needed it) that the game will be on Sony platforms.

Just an update from the Japanese side. Atlus will hold an event on niconico stream, starting on 21 and 72 hour later (24) "A Major Persona Announcement" will be made. Watch it here!

Would not surprise me if this was a PS4 exclusive at least in japan, and also wouldn't surprise me if it was a ps4 launch game in japan. There's really nothing else that has/is coming out between now and then that sounds like a system mover for people over there, though it wouldn't be the first time atlus put out a game on a previous gen console way after it ended.

Only thing really left to know is if its going to be persona 5 or as some people are starting to suggest persona 4 vol 2. Ether way cant wait
